Pope's Funeral/Charles & Camilla Wedding

I read that the Pope's funeral has now been scheduled for Friday....the day Charles and Camilla are due to wed. In your opinion, should they postpone their wedding?

And, do you have any feelings about their wedding...especially with all the confusion about will she/won't she eventually be Queen, and will she/won't she be given the title of Princess of Wales?

As there's some poor taste going on round here anyway, did anyone else see the news that Prince Rainier had died, and immediately think "wouldn't it be just brilliant if his funeral was on Saturday at 3:30?"

I think Chuck and Cam should go for a drive through wedding in Vegas. Borrow Dubya Bush's armoured car to get them and a couple of security guards from the airport, whisk them off to the drive through place, vows done, couple of photos with an Elvis impersonator, back on the plane, then home. Would save tax payers a fortune.

I noticed the queen is sending Charles as her rep for the funeral. Does this mean she could be poorly or was it just her way of putting the wedding off.

Don't think the Queen ever goes to State Funerals herself - she normally sends Chas or Duke of E as her representative - so wouldn't read too much into it. How about a nice honeymoon to Monaco ?

btw Do you think anyone else has taken the ex-wedding slot on Friday morning ?

And the D of E couldn't go to the Pope's for her because he is on a private trip to Germany and refused to cut it short for the wedding.

Did any of you see the report about Charles allegedly having a paddy in the plane back from Klosters - "why me?" - it didn't say if he actually stamped his foot though.

Yes I did read about Chas' paddy lol - he should know that ski trips to Klosters are often doomed - he got caught in an avalanche there, Queen Mum died whilst he was there 3 yrs ago, now the Pope...., Princess Di's dad died when they were skiing in Lech one year, and so on. Wonder if he'll be "allowed" to have boy's ski weeks anymore ? Apparently Camilla doesn't ski
