Just breaking on Sky News that Brand has been charged with a number of rapes and sexual offences. Good.
I hope his victims are feeling vindicated and supported.

So many victims, including his wife and children, in this trail of devastation.

It’s terrible how long the victims in this case have had to wait for the trial, it’s gone on forever and is still another 6 months until it goes to trial. I really hope they get justice.

I'd love to know how he's spinning this new development to his wife and his "followers".

I haven't heard that but must admit I thought he was very strange. He wrote a book, 'My bookywook', or something like that, some years ago. I've never read it but it may give insight to his personality.

I saw him acting in a TV drama and he was very good, quite convincing in the role (in which he played a rather odd, creepy character :)).

Brand's conversation was always rather lewd but I thought that was a pose, never dreamed he sexually assaulted anyone until all this came out.

Sadly I think we ain't something yet. The social media bombardment – internet sprites talking to us like they're our friends, even when we're in bed at 2 in the morning – is something we haven't got to grips with the consequences of yet.

So these two new charges (let’s face it, prosecutors won’t charge unless they have a decent amount of evidence) are from 2009. When he was dating Katy Perry. Ew.

So many of these awful men, hard to keep track of what seems to be an almost constant parade of abusers and that is just the ones who are brought to justice. I dread to think how many others there are who get away with it

Victims? So far as I was aware he hasn't been convicted of anything yet. Let's hope you're not on the jury with your mind already made up by what you've read in the media.
