I was recently talking about her on the steiner/waldorf thread and read tonight that she has just split from her husband partly due to the lifestyle change required by steiner schools.
Just wanted to post here, incase anyone knew her and could point her to the thread here

OP posts:

blueshoes:

"I have an almost normal Steiner near me, but not touching it with a 10 foot bargepole."

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Many parents are of a different opinion than you.

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 12:46

oh no
i had her brother in court though

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 12:46

looked the spit of her but no norks

Mamazon · 16/04/2008 12:47

so you are a teacher.

You are obviously in favour of such school theBee, how do you find they differ from our typical mainstream school?

In your own words i mean.

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 12:48

i rahter like MM

Solitaire · 16/04/2008 12:52

Waldorf Steiner????
Is that like Waldorf and Statler the old men in the box on the muppets??

JamSamBam · 16/04/2008 12:52

oh for gods sake..TheBee/Sune or whatever he is calling himself now is a professional internet Steiner advocate. He trawls the net looking for steiner related posts and then counter posts with wads of guff.

Steiner Waldorf Education is a thinly veiled ntrance into a wider global cult. Ive been there, go the tshirt and moved on. Please dont listen to TheBee!!

Saturn74 · 16/04/2008 12:52

Me too.
Except on Fort Boyard, where she certainly gave her underwiring a testing time, and distracted DS1 from his homework.

Thebee · 16/04/2008 12:54

Mamazon:

I wrote much of the site Waldorf Answers. Maybe that is one possible answer to your question?

blueshoes · 16/04/2008 12:56

Always wondered what kept those Steiner threads ticking over in active convos - I followed a few for a while then gave up. Now I know, its Steiner teacher TheBee and his alias'!

Mamazon · 16/04/2008 12:59

Ahh i see.

sorry i thought you were actually just someone who had a knowledge of these schools, not an invested interest.
sorry but i therefore find your opinion null and void.

I prefer to listen to real experiances by people with nothing to lose or gain.

I also find it odd that you are a member of MN yet you have no children of your own, you only post links about Steiner schools and the surrounding cult teachings.

I think that when people post about these schools here they are looking for people who have real experiance and can give honest unbiased opinions based on their experiances.
I think your rantings are clouding the debate and that you may find yourself better suited to educational forums ratehr than one designed specifically for parents...which you aren't.

northernrefugee39 · 16/04/2008 13:04

blueshoes thank you
He enjoys following people around and harassing them, it's probably the only attention he gets.
thebee has been stalking me all over the internet.
He is so fanatical about his steiner cult, he stalked me from blogs, posted what he thought was my real name here, after repeated requests to stop,
he said he wasn't trying to find out where I live ffs!
And he talked about my maidenname.
He then accused me of being some poster I'd never heard of, and then had the gall to call me hysterical for saying he was stalking me.

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/04/2008 13:06

nutter !

Saturn74 · 16/04/2008 13:06

So we've moved on from Fort Boyard then?

Thebee · 16/04/2008 13:12

"I think that when people post about these schools here they are looking for people who have real experiance and can give honest unbiased opinions based on their experiances."

I have real personal experiences of Waldorf schools. Probably nobody with personal experiences of Waldorf schools has unbiased opinions of them.

The closest you get to unbiased opinions probably are the Ofsted inspection reports I've mentioned and the DFES study.

Saturn74 · 16/04/2008 13:16

Thebee - did you really post what you assumed to be NR39s' real name on an open internet forum?

SheikYerbouti · 16/04/2008 13:19

Ah, quotes and links in bold*

Must be a Steiner thread

Thebee · 16/04/2008 13:27

The WC-gang that has taken a special pleasure in relentlessly attacking me here at MN, including NR39, early posted both my first and my full name in this open internet forum, without asking me for permission to do it, and continue to do it.

NR39 has used her full name in other public contexts on the net, when she has commented on WE. Some times, I have addressed NR39 with her first (not full), very common (some 26,000,000 search results at Google), probably real name in these discussions, as they use both my first and full real name in addressing me.

barking · 16/04/2008 13:28

Oh thank you Freckle, Feverfish and Solitaire - you have lightened the tone and made me roar

Yep I have just about had it with TheBee/Eva52/Sune Nordwall, he will link to all his own websites I think there are 4, which all go by different names but all written by the same bloke, including most of the content at wikipedia. He is a great PR machine. I highly recommend him if you have any occult leanings and would like to start a movement or promote one

I have been on mumsnet for 5 years and have posted on hundreds of threads about all sorts of things, but I have had to change my name as my other posts have referred to where I live and am a tad worried this bloke will try and find out where I live, such is his devotion to steiner/waldorf/anthroposophy

So that is why you have probably seen this ongoing thread that is 'steiner/walforf education/institutions' he found out about it by trawling the web and won't leave us alone, he derails most of the conversations by getting very personal and rather like an anthroposophical Benny Hill chases you from post to post wildly linking to his websites and makes personal slurs. I have never encountered this before at mumsnet and I really love it here but the lack of open honest debate about steiner philosophy is stifling people's experiences they want to share here (good and bad).

Some of the other posters on the thread don't want to report him as he is doing a good job of showing what total nutters some of the steiner/waldorf/anthroposophy people are.

I am not a member of 'Waldorf Critics', never have been, not sure what he means when he starts ranting and doing the bold type thing about this american anti-fringe group 10 year hate campaign. I am a parent in the UK, who had the naive misfortune to enrol my eldest child into a steiner school nearly 6 years ago and had the most terrifying experience. We still live at the school so we are in an incredibly difficult situation,

You are now encountering one of the devoted followers of this movement that calls itself steiner waldorf education that is infact a cult called anthroposophy.

Enjoy the show...

thebee, did you threaten northern by saying you weren't trying to find out where she lives ie implying that you have thought about it?

Do you get kicks from stalking and harassing someone for their views? I am shocked.

Solitaire · 16/04/2008 13:33

Actually TheBee are you either Waldorf or Statler as you do seem to be heckling madly at the forum.
MN needs to know are you a mad old muppet??

Saturn74 · 16/04/2008 13:36

"The WC-gang that has taken a special pleasure in relentlessly attacking me here at MN, including NR39, early posted both my first and my full name in this open internet forum, without asking me for permission to do it, and continue to do it.

So you all posted each others' RL identities?

How unfortunate.

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/04/2008 13:39

I can see barking's point that some posters don't want him removed/reported as it shows how nutty some of the steiner/waldorf/anthrosophy people are but the idea of stalking and his relentlessness is surely not a good thing ?

Thebee · 16/04/2008 13:42

"thebee, did you threaten northern by saying you weren't trying to find out where she lives ie implying that you have thought about it?"

No, what she writes is rubbish. In one discussion, NR39 falsely accused me of trying to find out what school her children go to.

In response to this, I told I had not tried to find out where she lives, meaning where her children go to school (In Sweden, where I live, your children normally go to school where you live, being the reason for what I wrote).

That is the background for what she writes on this.

Mamazon · 16/04/2008 13:44

barking - You live at one of these schools?

how does that work? I am utterly intrigued that a school can have such a strong effect on people.
Though it does seem that everyone who has experianced them (other than the clearly fanatical theBee) has had a negative experiance.
