I wonder how they make these decisions. PR dude: "Engagement reporting suggests that you are rather overexposed and viewed as entitled and whiny. I suggest not putting out a press release concerning this incident". Harry + M: "Nah man, the same guys that can't pay their rent will totally relate to this story. It's not entitled. 1. If the car chase was so catastrophic and lasting 2 hours, why is there no footage elsewhere on social media of it? Even in NYC, 6 paparazzi cars screeching through lights and nearly hitting pedestrians would must get filmed by someone?

2. If the cars chasing them were so aggressive that they (presumably) broke laws, then how did the photos taken by them surface so quickly? Those photographers would not release the photos as an admission of guilt if they knew the chase would blow up in the media.

3. Why weren't they wearing seatbelts in any of the photos?

4. When did they have time to leave the SUV and jump into a cab if there was a "chase" going on? Did the SUV driver refuse to drive dangerously to escape? Did the driver suggest the switch? Did they think a cab driver would be better at dodging traffic?

5. Why didn't they just drive home and ignore the paps even if they were being followed? They'd have been stuck in traffic with some people taking photos of them but surely the alternative is more horrifying especially with Harry's past.

6. Why did NYPD release a statement saying no arrests were made? Surely if there was so much risky driving involved, CCTV footage could easily identify the cars.

It's quite tasteless to describe it as 'near catastrophic' if it wasn't. This will be very triggering and traumatising for Prince William.

It's mad to carry on driving if you are being chased. If they had stopped the worst thing that would have happened is that the press would take a photo of them. Madness to try to drive away and lose the press. They should have thought of their children and just stop the car. It seems really strange as they had already had a photo taken because it was in the papers.
