Missing Woman Nicola Bulley 8

ofwarren · 12/02/2023 18:39

Here's the new thread

My phone is playing up. I wrote a FAQ and then it crashed and I lost it all.

I'm also dealing with a child on the spectrum who is bouncing off the walls this evening so I apologise for not being around much.

And there's no evidence of a crime being committed

Just a woman who had no reason to go missing, missing, and a river we can be sure is empty because two teams of professional police diver have searched it thoroughly.

oviraptor21 · 12/02/2023 23:13

I note the DM article says the harness "and lead" were found on the ground.
And that they are looking for keys.
One would assume they were in Nicola's coat pocket?

Yes, in the interview with the next door neighbour she says they were in her pocket.

I can't put any store in what I read in newspapers about this because of the reporting errors which are immediately noticeable. Is there any newspaper account that we can't find an issue with?

The funny thing about this post is that @77eleven is on your side and has been complaining about the threads, yet here you are berating her.
Hilarious 😂

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11743111/Police-searching-missing-Nicola-Bulley-return-village-fourth-time-search-property.html

"Police searching for missing Nicola Bulley return to village 'for fourth time' to search property, gardens and outbuildings as devastated partner leaves message on ribbon saying 'Nikki, I love you! Come home now'"

They're still quoting SR saying " her socks were tucked in her jeans". I go here first when I want an update!

I don't think that's what @7eleven meant at all, more that any tragedy is a tragedy. War is awful, famine is awful, missing person cases are awful - one tragedy doesn't negate others.

Um, you might want to read my posts on this thread. I am the antithesis of obsessed with Nicola Bulley.

To be fair though, to her family it is as awful.

Yep

No evidence of a crime.

Maybe we should all have a cup of tea and go to bed!

Whether that poster @7eleven is on 'my side' or not, I stand by what I said... That it's unbelievable that someone would say one woman going missing is equally as awful as 33,000 people dying in the Turkey/Syria earthquake. The fact you @ofwarren laughed at me saying this, and put silly LMFAO emojis when I posted this, does not surprise me.

This has irritated me from the start. Not because I think it means anything to the case, but because it's such a stupid and imprecise thing to say. You tuck jeans into socks, not socks into jeans.

And then you wonder about how careful the police have been about other things they have released!

ofwarren · 12/02/2023 23:55

VERY interesting news

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/02/12/forensic-expert-offers-carry-hunt-nicola-bulley-away-river/

Forensic expert offers to carry on hunt for Nicola Bulley away from river
Peter Faulding says he is privately consulting with 45-year-old’s family about carrying out land search for her

And asking for dashcam footage from a road that doesn't exist.

It can't really be excused.

But I think she's just a spokesperson rather than being on charge of the investigation isn't she?

Yes, she's spoken about the SIO, who must be relieved they're not expected to go and do these things themselves!

ofwarren · 13/02/2023 00:00

So I'm assuming because the police haven't made it a crime scene, Peter Faulding can just do his land search where he likes, as long as its not on private land?
The family must be so grateful to him

OP posts:
pigsinoodies · 13/02/2023 00:02

I expected family will eventually realise that he's a bit of a twat.

If they get the land search they want then I think it's worth it.
Doesn't look like the police are going to do one
