Evan Davies is so lovely I want him for a novelty keyring. And he is going to become a presenter of the Today Programme

This is good news, surely, especially if it means the horrible egotist John Humphries is retiring.

Evan Davies is clever, enthusiastic, and really cute!

OK - here's a curved ball. Does anyone else really like Bob Wooster - the Mori poll man?

margoandjerry · 28/11/2007 14:26

this fella?

You're on your own there my love.

seeker · 28/11/2007 14:31

I meant in a purely intellectual way - I want him to be world dictator!

margoandjerry · 28/11/2007 14:39

Oh that's alright then. I suppose I meant the same really. I don't suppose I really want to have carnal knowledge of an Archbishop .

seeker · 28/11/2007 14:46

I did wonder! Mind you, I bet Desmond Tut would be really......NOOOOOOO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!

His face is all .... wrong. There is too much chin and too much forehead. It is not a face suggestive of a high IQ in my opinion. LOL

TellusMater · 28/11/2007 14:59

And think how many goes he'd take to get it perfect!

EffiePerine · 28/11/2007 15:00

nonononono

he takes himself far too seriously. Never fancy a man without a sense of humour.

I know. I don't get the Gordon Ramsey thing. He reminds me of Simon Le Bon - potato-faced, both of them.

flicky · 28/11/2007 15:29

Scary stuff about Evan Davies? C'mon - dish!

Well,it involved nipple clamps and leather hot pants, afair. I got the vapours and I don't know how it ended, tbh.

policywonk · 28/11/2007 20:46

seeker - yes to Bob Wooster. The Voice of Psephological Reason.

pointydog · 28/11/2007 21:10

policywonk, people are confusing us left right and centre. I think your name is meaningless so you must leave mn forthwith

policywonk · 28/11/2007 21:45

Genuine LOL pointy

Who's been confusing us? Tell them it's all down to the choice of slipper.

DaDaDa · 28/11/2007 21:58

We started listening to Radio 2 after DS was born (rather than 5live) as he likes the music. I fear Sarah Kennedy may have undiagnosed 'issues'. She was reviewing the papers one morning and (I swear) talked about 'lovely hunky young soldiers' being killed in Iraq.

I think I've ranted before about the most irritating broadcaster in the world: Stephen Nolan. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

pointydog · 28/11/2007 22:08

latest was littlelapin. I don't even know who tom blardy lehrer is.

You think I'm joking

margoandjerry · 28/11/2007 22:12

Stephen Nolan is indeed an idiot. He ruins my weekend insomnia. They need to bring back Anita Anand to the late show asap as these ranty idiots are just horrid.

seeker · 28/11/2007 22:15

Stepen Nolan is indeed dreadful - but is he as dreadful as Phil Williams?

policywonk · 28/11/2007 22:16

You should know, pointy, that I am the sort of person who runs snivelling to authority at the first sign of menace. So, erm, y'know, back off.

Surely that pudding-faced eedgit - oh yes Eamonn Holmes, that's the one - is the most irritating Ulsterman on Radio 5. Although I will admit it's a close thing.
