I've been to biker funerals. (not Hells Angels)
Cod, I agree with chirpy and StG, this is not a nice subject for flippancy.

I don't care what srt of funeral I have,I won't be there.

Pan · 15/09/2007 21:34

dd has started on the biker thing today. Her first pair of heelies today.. She hasn't taken them off. I asked if she'd like to sleep with them.......so she has just taken them up with her. Bless her.

Kewcumber · 15/09/2007 22:20

Oops Mhamai - unintentional pun there...

Hurlyburly · 15/09/2007 22:26

But what do you care? You'll be dead, right?

If you do want to have a say in your send off, why not avoid MNET for a day or so and use the time saved to clean the house from top to toe and also take a few minutes to arrange your own funeral?

Jeez... touchy!

I doubt if cod was being offensive to bikers

Why do people choose to take these posts so personally?

newlifenewname · 15/09/2007 22:54

what's biker stuff have to do with scrapbooking?

WendyWeber · 15/09/2007 22:54

I would be very happy to have that many people at mine

(I won't )

is that because they scrapbook?

Biker style is rolling up sleeves on leather jacket and wearing white fruits of the loom t shirt once you pass age 45 isn't it? a la that antiques guy?

newlifenewname · 15/09/2007 22:58

Lovejoy

gibberish · 15/09/2007 22:58

I'm not having a funeral. I don't agree with them. So there.

collision · 15/09/2007 22:58

Coddy, if you were to die, (which would be sad), would Mr Cod come on Mumsnet to let us know......

.....because I would like to send a skull and crossbones wreath to the funeral!

Actually, although I am joking, do you think Mr cod would tell us?

WendyWeber · 15/09/2007 22:59

When I say I would be happy, actually I would be dead, and not even know.

But ykwim....

fireflyfairy2 · 15/09/2007 23:00

collision · 15/09/2007 23:01

WendyWeber · 15/09/2007 23:02

codnolences is what we would send for cod

Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 23:02

Would have been better not in "news" because then it would have just been a chat about funerals.

I can see my dad having one like that.

2shoes · 15/09/2007 23:03
