My heart goes out to her family and friends and I'm hoping she will be found soon.

Flowersvery sad

bobstersmum · 13/08/2019 10:36

It's so sad that no one will likely ever truly know what really happened now, I really hope she didn't suffer.

Propertyofhood · 13/08/2019 10:41

Oh God I just saw this on the BBC and just got goosebumps - how awful, but yes, as others have said, at least her parents will know.

Sad
Toddlerteaplease · 13/08/2019 10:51

Terrible news. RIP Nora.

danni0509 · 13/08/2019 11:28

Bless her. How sad.

PointlessUsername · 13/08/2019 13:22

So, so sad.
Her poor Family Flowers

Jumpy654 · 13/08/2019 15:11

Awful news, heartbreaking for her poor family. I can't even begin to imagine Sad I've been following the news closely praying there would be a more positive outcome.

BBC news channel have just said her body was found naked. Possibly sinister perhaps?

MissEliza · 13/08/2019 15:14

So sad Thanks

WanderingTrolley1 · 13/08/2019 15:36

Devastating news.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 13/08/2019 15:56

So sad - I was hoping she had just wandered off and would be found ok.

Not what the family was expecting to do when they went on holiday - identify her, how awful for them.

Whoops75 · 13/08/2019 16:24

Read that the terrain outside the house was mucky and there was no mud in the house.
That’s why the police think she went out herself. Also reported the one thing she wanted to see was the waterfall where she was found.

I hope it was an accident and she didn’t suffer.

BrienneofTarthILoveYou · 13/08/2019 17:03

Me too @Whoops75 Sad

MyDcAreMarvel · 13/08/2019 18:39

She probably had hypothermia.

beanaseireann · 13/08/2019 19:11

MyDcAreMarvel
I thought so too Sad
My heart goes out to her family and friends. I was so hoping for a different outcome.

Me too, I was praying she would survive. I really hope her family are getting a lot of support.

Kinsters · 14/08/2019 02:44

MyDcAreMarvel she wouldn't have had hypothermia I don't think. Malaysia is a tropical country and even at night time temperatures don't go below 25°C. She could have taken her clothes off to go in the water?

SleepWarrior · 14/08/2019 03:21

The best outcome would be that she had wandered off to find this waterfall and stripped off to go in/because she was hot. The additional mental anguish for her poor family if foul play was involved doesn't bear thinking about Sad. I pray there isn't more distressing news to come for her family about what happened to her.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 14/08/2019 13:39

She was only ever in a "flimsy" night dress, without shoes. It's quite possible it was damaged or removed to swim or got wet. Paradoxical undressing is also more likely because of her neurological condition, and she may have just been hot.

I hope that's the case, rather than anything even more awful.

escapade1234

I agree with your post

bobstersmum · 14/08/2019 18:51

Also agree with escapade BUT is it likely that she would have left on her own in the dark?
