My heart goes out to her family and friends and I'm hoping she will be found soon.

It's awful but at least they will know what happened to her. Rip

BirthdayKake · 13/08/2019 09:19

It's in the daily mail. Surprised it's not in many other places yet. If it's her it's bloody heartbreaking x

MorrisZapp · 13/08/2019 09:20

The BBC is always last to break these stories, I assume because they won't report without valid sources.

So absolutely heartbreaking for her family, how can they bear this pain. Awful, just awful.

ShirleyPhallus · 13/08/2019 09:20

Oh gosh, how bittersweet to have found a body Sad

beanaseireann · 13/08/2019 09:21

I was hoping( (against hope) that she would be found alive. Sad

Oh no. I didn't expect to read that. Her poor family. My heart goes out to them all.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 13/08/2019 09:26

In the mountains Sad Her poor family. I was so hoping she'd be okay, somehow.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 13/08/2019 09:28

If it’s not in an accessible place how did the person they found got there? I mean I understand someone can fall into an i accessible place but they must have climbed the mountain even a little bit first?

AlwaysSunshine81 · 13/08/2019 09:29

How can she have got so far out?
Poor girl this is so sad

gubbsywubbsy · 13/08/2019 09:30

Very sad... Poor parents .. I have a son with learning difficulties too 😞

MrsDimmond · 13/08/2019 09:32

Heartbreaking.
I'm 'glad' the nightmare of not knowing where their daughter is may be over but a new nightmare is beginning for that pior family.
My heart goes out to them.

ChicCroissant · 13/08/2019 09:35

How sad for the family, the whole thing has been a nightmare for them.

The report I've read mentions the body being in an inaccessible place so it may take some time to reach and verify.

I did wonder about a fall as well Drink, but the family are adamant that she would not have wandered off on her own. The resort itself could be on a steep hill, I don't know. I hope they get some answers.

xTinkerhellx · 13/08/2019 09:40

The standard link from above states that forensic examination is needed to determine whether the body is male or female.

Surely if it was Nora she could not have decomposed so quickly in 15 days so as to be completely unrecognisable as female?

VictoriaBun · 13/08/2019 09:42

Sadly yes it could. Extreme heat, wild animals. Poor family and so sadFlowers

ballsdeep · 13/08/2019 09:43

I thibk they'll need forensics because if the heat and also bevause of the amount of animals there too. I know a mews outlet mentioned the amount of dangerous animals living in the jungle

ChicCroissant · 13/08/2019 09:48

Just read that Metro report above and it does seem quite close to the residence, and I unfortunately agree with Victoria about the identifications reasons - not to mention any injuries if she did fall. So sad.

bobstersmum · 13/08/2019 09:50

Absolutely horrific.

FunInTheSun2019 · 13/08/2019 09:54

Sad oh no!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 13/08/2019 09:59

Inaccessible could be a poor word choice. According to AFP on Twitter, "a body with white skin was found 2km from the house where she was staying. A man phoned the police to say he had found a body by a waterfall."

So inaccessible may mean hard to retrieve, rather than somewhere that it'd be difficult to get to... and one of the media shots of her is in front of a waterfall; although I don't know if that's from this holiday.

Her poor parents. A bit of me is relieved that she has potentially been found and they won't be waiting forever for an answer, but I was so hoping she'd be okay somehow.

PancakeAndKeith · 13/08/2019 09:59

I guess the only thing to hope for now is that is was an accident and she didn’t suffer.

LittleMissNaice · 13/08/2019 10:04

On BBC now. How awful Flowers

FairyJuice · 13/08/2019 10:08

I've been checking regularly for updates on this story, awful to hear that it has such a sad ending Sad The poor Quoirin family, goodness know the heartache they are going through at the moment. Glad in a small sense that at least they know now though.
