NormaStanleyFletcher · 05/07/2007 20:57

Well that was the voice of reason

jofeb04 · 05/07/2007 20:58
Hmm
LittleBoot · 05/07/2007 20:58

Surely the parent of the child who told jofeb04's child here is at fault?

I think she should be stoned

NKF · 05/07/2007 20:58

I simply can't begin to understand why the subject isn't a core subject on the National Curriculum. Foundation stage.

haychee · 05/07/2007 20:59

hatrick
the topic was covered at my daughters school in the assembly so there seems little point in tell her not to tell her friends

MascaraOHara · 05/07/2007 20:59

I don't understand why my dd's school have a picture up. I find it bizarre.

lionheart · 05/07/2007 21:00

C'mon haychee, you're turning into the mumsnet equivalent of the Duracel bunny.

Let it go (there are other things to talk about).

SueBaroo · 05/07/2007 21:00

haychee, are you for real? Do you genuinely feel so worked up about this topic that you feel an evangelical zeal to convince others that they really, really must tell their dc asap?

Twiglett · 05/07/2007 21:00

Have you told your children about Margaret Hill tonight?

OP posts:
MascaraOHara · 05/07/2007 21:02

yes they should. What do you think has happened to joebe04 ds? Oh, yes he found out the news from another child thats it isnt it? Id prefer my kids to have the news broken by me rather than another child. And how has joebe04 ds reacted to the story from another child? Hes not coping at all well is he? hmmm.. why is that do we think?

tiredemma · 05/07/2007 21:04

I imagine he's very upset because it's very upsetting information and he's having trouble processing that.

Why on earth do you think a sensitive child would be any less traumatized by the story if they were told in another way?

haychee · 05/07/2007 21:09

hatrick
No they dont much actually in fact rarely. Anyway my children are sensitive too, they wouldnt just come out with something like that. But i do know the kinds of kids that would

jofeb04 · 05/07/2007 21:09
