• also want to interview an american who lives locally who owns a white van and hasn't been seen for the last few days

so confusing as no one has said why the petrol station people have been ruled out? and i saw daysa go the white van was ruled out??

they did look for 2 white vans tho. one was owned by an american man

i knew they were looking for an american local man?, its all getting cinfusing i think there is more sepeculation than fact right now, which is sad as that mean there is no progress

BBC News has 'villa sealed off at Algarve resort where Madeleine McCann went missing' - please God she's there safe and sound.

Sky News says they are searching home of a British woman and son.

Sky has someone outside - apparently it's a local British man and his mother. The man was acting as a translator for police and the mother set up a stall to try ot find Madeleine

Just read the same on sky news the man who owns the villa with his mother has been helping with translation

Another bastard 'helping the police', Ian Huntley again - fingers crossed she's ok. This guy has a young daughter who looks like Madeleine but he's separated from his wife who lives in Norfolk.

A scotland yard policeman said the other day it had similarities to the Soham murders. God I hope not!

So strange that those two UK policemen said at the weekend it would be resolved in days and close to the scene. Keeping hopeful about this and trying not to speculate - it may come to nothing, who knows.

martin brunt from sky news on, jennifer murat the mother of robert murat has been sat for hours in scorching heat asking people to talk to her about madeleines disapperance if they didnt want to talk to the police.
robert murat turned down 2 opportunities to talk to press about how he feels about madelines disappearance.
