MADELEINE news updates - a new positive thread

For those of you who are interested - and don't want any arguing - the news update according to Sky

  • police are now looking for a man seen in a white van
  • they have an e-fit of him
  • also want to interview an american who lives locally who owns a white van and hasn't been seen for the last few days
  • reward of £1.5M has been offered by the News of the World

''BBC correspondent Richard Bilton said a British man in his 30s who was interviewed by police on Monday had now formally been given "arguido" status, equivalent to being named as a suspect in Britain investigations.

Under the Portuguese legal system, people who are questioned are not arrested but treated as witnesses.

Arrests can only be made when police consider someone an arguido.

However, a person questioned by police may also ask for such a status to be invoked as it gives them greater legal rights.''

The journalist who reported him said he raised her suspisions when she took his photo and he was very cross about it and asked her to delet it. Also his mum has given him an alibi on the night she dissapeared saying she spent the night with him at the villa

The drawings are from a guy in the US who has these predictions in his dreams. He posts the drawing on a non-ad website and people then post anything they can gain from the drawings. He appears to have had a dream on the 3/5 and then another on the 10/5 about the abduction

Squidette those dream drawings are eerie.
There are so many coincidences. Lets hope that Brian can dream again and find poor Madeline.

Lilyloo it said on the news rhat they do have to get a court order to arrest someone yes, and they can only arrest a drfinite suspect
