I am so worried about this little girl, but can't always find out on the tv, so I thought I would start this, as the thread is talking about stuff, I just want the latest updates please. If this offends anyone I am sorry, but I want to know the updates on this case.

all those phone calls and supposed sightings??..people ARE trying to help..just hope one of them brings her home to her parents

oh dear god, the headline going across the top sounds like hope!..will be keeping everything crossed..and they say they think a man(or was it 2?) and a woman are involved??

Right, have been looking at portuguese papers front pages and news wensites to see what's new. This is basically what they say:

Police are now focusing on employees of the resort because they think the abductor needed inside help. This isn't going down very well in the resort apparentely.

and some reports that the searches continue with the same number of men but some that today might be the last day of field searches

that's it really.... it doesn't seem to be so much on the news anymore I'm afraid...

A tabloid said yesterday that the police had found a car, I think I posted it here. I wonder if it is the same news....

i saw that, they said on that link the car they believe is english registered, so they 'must' have the car inpounded?..i wonder what leads them to believe there was more than one person?
i think they are doing all this well before the news arrives as they must take action before these people can get wise, am hoping we hear something good very very very soon.

tugamommy-It had crossed my mind if someone working at the hotel was involved.
They would have details of the family and their movements.
May not come to anything but I would have thought they would have questioned this earlier on!!

Hope they find her soon .

Just read that they have 3 suspects (don't know if this has been mentionned here or not, am getting a bit confused....), 2 men and a woman. Apparentely they were seen taking pictures of children in other parts of the Algarve. They're showing sketches of their faces to people in the resort. I suppose they want to know if it might be the same man they had the initial picture for?

I hope these are not just 'made up' news by the press....

have seen the news about two men and woman but didnt hear about them taking pics of children?, dear god, i hope they find her and soon, it does sound promisong, but these suspects havent been 'found' yet have they???

look again at Tatts link earlier , breaking news that hey have narrowed the search to one area and there have been sightings of man and woman taking pics..they sound positive!???

that sounds promising PinkChick. I think we all have to really try and remain positive that this will have a good outcome.

Lets hope today is the day that Madeleine is found safely.

Sky news about ten mins ago said the blonde women has been sighted on a few occasions and they have 4 definate leads but didnt say what they were ? anyone know?

kate and gerry mccann driven away by police recently quite urgently apparently and a press conference announced for tonight.
2 men and a woman definate suspects -
car with british number plates.

Is it me or are these constant press conferences the only way the Portugese police can release any information because of the laws there. If there was any real news, surely the press conference would be sooner, no??
