I am so worried about this little girl, but can't always find out on the tv, so I thought I would start this, as the thread is talking about stuff, I just want the latest updates please. If this offends anyone I am sorry, but I want to know the updates on this case.

northy the problem with websites though is that they can be hosted from anywhere. So while in a lot of countries ISP's would block these kinds of sites where possible, you could host a site from a country that doesn't have such stringent internet security/regulation (if you could call it that), which would make it harder to trace. Also, we live in such a digital era now, where you can get fairly soffisticated cameras on your mobile phone, that pictures can be sent via multi media instead of email, so would not be traceable as to where they'd originaled from, as I don't think that mobile technology is yet as such that what you're sending over the networks can be intercepted yet.

I did start a thread for discussions on the news because i thought this was just for the news updates.

If we can track would be terrorists as thoroughly as we have seen in the last few days, why can't these 'people' be tracked?

A portuguese tabloid says police found the car used to kidnap Madeleine! It may not be true but at least it brings some hope...

Also, did anyone watch GMV this morning? They had an ex officer commenting on the case. I don't know his name but he was also making comments when the Soham girls disappeared. Anyway, he was saying that the circumstances of the kidnapp suggested it was very planned and organized, which could mean that it was 'ordered' by someone who wanted a child like Madeleine. This could potentially mean a more positive outcome than if it was commited by a peadophile acting on impulse... Everyone was really hopeful on the program after this.

I also heard that the parents had left the kids on a couple of occasions during the holiday thus giving the abductor a pattern to follow of when might be an opportune time to take her (so he may have been watching for some time )
