I wasn't expecting that! Thought she was going to be the next Princess. Maybe the pressure was too much, they are very young.

I reckon they're still together, and this is just to take the pressure off her. It's a good time to fake it as he's not likely to see her much while he's in Dorset.

why do we need to know and wtf is it doing as the headline news - has noone died out in Iraq or Afghanistan in the last day or two or has this wiped something more significant out of the public consciousness?

I agree - it's not news - real news is the people dying in Iraq and all round the world.

However...... I can't help but feel a tiny little sorry for her... she's so young and she's got to spend the rest of her life being the one that he didn't marry and like Di and Ferg, once you're out in the cold - you're out in the cold.

I read in a Sunday paper that the Royals were not too keen on her parents. Apparantly when her mum met the queen she said 'pleased to meet you' and 'pardon' instead of 'what' and she was chewing gum
