Having peeked at CA, it's just exhausting to watch them. Do they genuinely, honestly, not think that GOSH haven't already looked down the avenues they're suggesting/verging on harassing?

I can't imagine what CA think will be achieved by contacting hospices. The relevant one is never going to tell some stranger who calls "Oh yes, actually, he's coming here, we've got Room XYZ lined up for him".

Maybe they would come forward knowing they won't be named in the media 💙

I'm struggling to keep up - so if no agreement is reached the default option is the hospice? But that seems to be the only alternative to GOSH anyway? Will they be given time with Charlie before treatment (for want of a better word) is withdrawn?

Rita, CA followers/pastor/press might turn up mobhanded just to still ''be part of it''.

CA are tiring to watch. Do they not think that at least one of GOSH, C+C and the lawyers might have tried the Evelina, since it's the other specialist Paeds hospital in London? Are they that dense?

Enchanted, basically the question is whether he is extubated a few hours after reaching the hospice, or a few days. The latter would need the intensivist to give optimum care with a team of nurses.

What do they want the Evelina to do? What would be gained by moving him there instead of a hospice, given that all concerned accept that he cannot survive?

In its way CA is a fascinating insight into the original witch hunts, the stoking of the mob mentality, with us or against us.

The Judge didn't say there would be NO further hearings, he said 'none were expected'. C&C literally have the money to fly in genuine experts from Italy and 'force' the Judge to hear them again.

Haven't posted since a few threads back but been following, if it wasn't for these threads I wouldn't have known it had gone back to court today!

I'd like to join the new discussion, will be offline for a bit now putting kids to bed.

Now I've got a vision of all these poor hospices having to answer untold calls from the barmy lot.

He said today's would be the last hearing. I suppose it's just possible that C&C might try for another if they can't reach agreement, but they must know that unless they had something absolutely watertight in place that guarantees Charlie's welfare it would go nowhere; and if they could wave a magic wand and produce that, GOSH and the guardian would probably have agreed to it anyway.

It is Penguindreams. Earlier on (possibly on the new thread 17) someone posted an article they wrote about the impact of online groups like CA. It was very good.

So is continuing intensive care in a hospice setting still a possibility?

Ah, right, jinglejangle. Because of course in CA's minds the Evelina intensivists can all easily just drop everything and go and work in the hospice for a few days without jeopardising any of the Evelina's patients.
