Ok guys, we have been very lucky to discuss this, please lets not give anyone anything to complain about, Mhq have been more than accomodating.

Someone on CA has put ta hospice. I really hope it's not the hospice. Unsure what to do, have screenshotted it. Should I do anything?

Butterymuffin · 26/07/2017 18:12

And the default judgment stops it dragging on beyond that. It's not the ideal but it avoids the worst case scenario of it going into the weekend or further.

Jux · 26/07/2017 18:12

...put the name of a hospice .....

Butterymuffin · 26/07/2017 18:13

If anyone here is able to post on the CA thread, it might be worth stating that anyone breaking the order to keep details private will be liable for prosecution. At least then it's been said.

JaneEyre70 · 26/07/2017 18:13

They are actually naming and contacting all the hospices in the London area. I'm speechless. Surely a London one wouldn't have been chosen for that very reason. Jeez they certainly are a very "special" lot, aren't they?!

Chattymummyhere · 26/07/2017 18:14

I would like to still be able to follow please.

Butterymuffin · 26/07/2017 18:14

And information might well be a wild guess anyway.

Butterymuffin · 26/07/2017 18:15

Contacting them saying what? That's madness.

howyalikedemapples · 26/07/2017 18:15

I have been lurking and following these threads closely, thank you all for your measured and informed debate, could I please get a pm with the other place too, thanks

Jux · 26/07/2017 18:15

I can't post on CA or I would do that, Butterymuffin. Maybe I cacn send a message to the person who did it, just warning her though. Will investigate (am not really into fb and how it works, twitter even worse).

TheNoodlesIncident · 26/07/2017 18:16

I'm hoping Chris Gard wasn't in court because he wanted to be with Charlie.

A hospice at least stands a chance of being and remaining private. The family home wouldn't stand a chance of seclusion

Relieved the Judge has made a firm merciful decision

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 18:16

Is this other place a parenting site by any chance?

Lightlovelifeagain · 26/07/2017 18:16

What would happen if a certain American pastor, who actually had a picture from the court on his Facebook page, just happened to release the name of the hospice? Does he get away with it because he is American? I'm not suggesting he would do it on purpose but having seen the Facebook page I could imagine him asking his supporters to pray for Charlie, Connie and Chris in xyz Hospice in Anytown.
Thank you for all the invaluable information on this thread (and all the others).

Sirzy · 26/07/2017 18:17

Can someone link me to the other place please.

Surely CA are close on harrasment with their constant pestering of anyone with any vague medical links?

Scrumptiousbears · 26/07/2017 18:17

Also Connie has given an email address of a godfather and asked that it's only contacted if someone can help. They are emailing him random websites and telephone numbers. They aren't even reading what she is asking for. It's like hysteria. I think they just want to belong to "something" and feel a part of something.

SpitefulMidLifeAnimal · 26/07/2017 18:17

I would like to continue to read too, could someone let me know where to go pls? Thanks.

rosietosey · 26/07/2017 18:17

New name here, but have been following from the start.

Where is this "other place" would someone pm me or is it just for some?

Thanks.

smilingmind · 26/07/2017 18:18

I really hope C&C spend this time with Charlie but I do think they will spend at least some of it in a desperate search for another expert.
I understand why the judge made the decision to give them until 12 tomorrow. A final way of making his closure of the case watertight.
C&C have no option to go back to court but must talk to GOSH and get their agreement and support of any plans they make concerning alternative doctors.
As GOSH could not find an alternative PICU team to take over Charlie's care outside the hospital then surely their chances of doing so are tiny.
For Charlie's sake I am very glad this is drawing to an end.
I pity the parents and hope that in the future they can find peace and happiness again.

blueskyinmarch · 26/07/2017 18:18

Why are CA contacting hospices? I don't actually understand this at all. What do they hope to achieve by doing this? Don't they realise how much trouble they could be in? Do they think the ruling is just for the press and not Jo(e) Public?

muckypup73 · 26/07/2017 18:18

rosietosey, I am hoping its on Mumsnet and the link will be shared.

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday · 26/07/2017 18:19

They tried to get a Dr yesterday didn't they?Confused

It is so sad that all these people are carrying on and encouraging this madness, instead of saying "we tried that yesterday, there isn't a qualified Dr,, now go and be with your son"

Sostenueto · 26/07/2017 18:20

Montypython yes she is just incapable of understanding that the hospice cannot do it over night intensivist or not. That us down to her brief who also doesn't seem to understand. You can excuse Connie for it because she is so out if it through grief, but you can't excuse the brief.
It is quite clear by judges comments that there is no more chance of extending the time.

oakleaffy · 26/07/2017 18:20

Is there another more appropriate discussion place for this thread? if possible, could you PM me too? thanks

RitaMills · 26/07/2017 18:20

I can't imagine why anyone would want to release the name of the hospice even if they did know. Charlie's parents have even said he is too far gone to have any chance of life so this isn't a 'save charlie' campaign anymore, he is going to die and his family have the right to spend his last days with him in privacy. Surely even the barmy army can see that?!

JaneEyre70 · 26/07/2017 18:20

They're desperately hoping they all have a few spare ICU staff floating around that can be "borrowed" I would imagine. I don't think there is a huge understanding of what a hospice offers in way of care........... and like the hospices need all that shit with the job they're doing. FGS.
