I've met a doctor from Sudan through work. I can't get my head around the fact the gentle, hugely professional and staggeringly well educated person I've met is not welcome in the USA. Land of the free? This is terrifying.

The list of countries is in the Beeb report, Stealth: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen

It's been confirmed as noted above that it applies to those holding dual citizenship (like Farah) and the MP Nadhim Zahawi has tweeted that he has been told the ban applies to him despite only holding British citizenship, as he was born in Iraq.

In the long term this will be the us's loss but in the short term a lot of upset, displaced and inconvenienced people.
And a message of intolerance.

At present the ban isn't "Muslims" but all people from 7 countries. It's still abhorrent and it's obviously aimed at Muslims but let's not play Trump's alternative facts game.

Ethiopia is not on the list so Mo Farrah will be fine, but I'm sure he's grateful for your concern.
