Katie, aged 7 was stabbed to death in the street.

I know someone has been arrested (and that's not for discussion)

I just feel so horrendously sad for this little girls family. 7 years old and such a brutal death.

Heartbreaking.

Whiskey becasue it may prejudice a fair trial.

AuntieStella · 10/01/2017 21:11

Because MNHQ don't like it, and will delete it (or the whole thread if it becomes too holey) and it's always been like that.

Other circus, their monkeys. And their decision on what is so tasteless they don't want it. Plus of course any legal restrictions on publication in UK.

Whisky2014 · 10/01/2017 21:21

Ok thanks.

Hi everyone,
We are reading your reports about the information contained in EatShoots' newspaper article, and we've tried to establish whether this is in the public domain or not. From what we can make out, it may have been, for a while, but other than the News and Star report from 10am this morning we can't stand it up.
So to be on the safe side, we're going to make some deletions, and we hope that's okay. To be clear, we very much understand the need that many people have to vent their feelings when a tragedy of this nature occurs but we do try to keep details off the site unless they are in the public domain, and we don't much like speculation when there's really no way of knowing what's happened because, well, it's a bit grim.

I completely agree.

EatsShitAndLeaves · 10/01/2017 21:25

MNHQ - as per my previous post, fine by me.

catching just becasue it's on the Internet doesn't mean that it's legally allowed. The site you linked to may be breaking the law.

DavetheCat2001 · 10/01/2017 21:40

That article practically names the arrested girl (allegedly) Confused

happy2bhomely · 10/01/2017 21:41

That site that has been linked to is fucking disgraceful.

Untidy council house and boxes in the front garden were seen as relevant fucking facts. A nurse told someone who told someone else, etc. And to top it all off, they've listed the names and ages of children of the family.

DavetheCat2001 · 10/01/2017 21:43

It really is.

Awful.

BakeOffBiscuits · 10/01/2017 21:46

I agree happy. Angry

Alfieisnoisy · 10/01/2017 21:51

That article needs to be deleted...it ore or less names the killer. It also identifies the family who need protection at such an awful time.

TheDuchessOfKidderminster · 10/01/2017 21:51

This whole thread needs to be deleted.

PovertyJetset · 10/01/2017 21:51

I can't, that weblink is very irresponsible reporting and puts a great deal of sensitive information out there. I KNOW that it's all
Out there on Facebook, but even so.

That poor poor family.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 10/01/2017 21:55

This whole thread needs to be deleted.

I tend to agree.

CatchingBabies · 10/01/2017 21:57

Have reported my post, didn't read the whole article to see that they named the other children and ages! Have asked mumsnet to delete, apologies only read the top half of the article.

Alfieisnoisy · 10/01/2017 21:58

I agree the thread needs to go. Speculation at this time is wrong. There is a case in court that I am itching to start a thread about but I won't until the trial is finished. It's all too risky for MNHQ and also for victims families who might see a guilty person go free due to careless comments.

UnicornButtplug · 10/01/2017 22:00

That article is disgraceful. Like they couldn't wait but shout we know, we know!

RJnomore1 · 10/01/2017 22:00

That same info (being careful not to repeat it) is on AMP as of one hour ago.

Soubriquet · 10/01/2017 22:01

It's like a bees nest

Once it's out, very difficult to get back in

Even if a court order came out telling them to stop

passmethewineplease · 10/01/2017 22:03

That site is awful.

I cannot imagine what those poor parents are going through. If the speculation is true and it was a relation god only knows how they will be feeling. Sad

RIP Katie. Flowers
