And now Germany - an axeman has attacked people on a train.

I didn't think it was sarcastic. I thought it was a pretty fair statement of fact TBH.

Sadly given the circumstances in Cologne, I suspect the target was Beamten (civil servants) as opposed to refugees.

I wasn't posting about the Cologne attack.

I was talking about the incident days ago where some aerosols in a suitcase were set alight outside a refugee centre. Which the Mail painted as possibly being an Isis attack.

I posted well before the Cologne incident.

However if these recent attacks were aimed at immigration administrators that would still support my point that these attacks seem anti refugee yet the media are trying to insinuate they were Isis? There's a whole thread about this.

The latest is that two responsible for the Zirndorf suitcase were romanians who had stayed in that very centre but had asylum refused as Romania part of EU.
So no, not Isis but neither was it a Pegida attack (the latter have demonstrated in Nuremberg with a strong police presence but there are many more anti-pegida supporters here).
The media in the UK does jump the gun re making an automatic Isis link to every event yes, the German media less so hence the accusations of underplaying and covering up events involving migrants.

"Beyond - Very frustrating that the Spalding murders were described as a "domestic" and the killer to be "among the dead". I wish they'd say a man murdered his wife & daughter before shooting himself. It feels like it isn't quite murder if you were married to them hmm"

Good job they didn't. Verdict today for the teenage girl

A similarly aged teenage boy had already admitted guilt.

Viking, that's a different case in Spalding. There was one where a man shot his family and today's verdict was a teen couple that killed a mum and daughter.
