Yes I'm glad you can't agree all should be interned. That was my point.

I said nothing about the terrorists whom I have already condemned.

So no need for the sneering comments. Thank you very much

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 26/07/2016 19:47

If there were a simple way of knowing which people were a threat and which weren't, crime would be near enough non-existent. Though that's a bit too "Winter Soldier" tbh!!

BillSykesDog · 26/07/2016 20:04

Well getting caught going to Syria is a pretty big red flag IMO. But, hey, his right to do that with relative impunity just trumps an old man's right to practice his religion without his head being cut off.

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 26/07/2016 20:09

It is a big red flag, but there are (albeit few) people who do go to Syria with nicer motives, it's not outside of the realms of possibility.

Should we lock up those who say they are taking aid etc just in case?

I wish the police had done a better job of interrogating him, that they had reached the truth, that goes without saying. But the same applies to anyone who is released and goes on to commit a/another crime.

There no answer to such overblown insulting virtue signalling fascist melodramatic shite, so I won't make one.

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 26/07/2016 20:35

I don't know why I try to be reasonable when I get crap like that back.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/07/2016 20:37

don't be ridiculous Bill, you have a very strange impression of me if you think I support people going to Syria to try and join ISIS. You do talking insulting bollocks rather a lot of the time.

TwistedReach · 26/07/2016 20:41

Bill that post is extraordinary! Its not really worth responding to any of it but honestly where have you got that any of us don't care about victims?

TwistedReach · 26/07/2016 20:43

And I dont need any dust to settle to wonder about the mental state of murderers and other criminals. I make no apology for that.

allthemadmen · 26/07/2016 20:49

I don't see virtue signalling I see raw anger and emotion at the fate of this poor poor old man today.

Who would be going to Syria to do good things, in a covert way?
No one should be going to Syria except through the proper bona fida channels. There is no excuse.

What can we do to find out what is going on in the mosques of imans such as the one who went to Pakistan?

"A dark day in the history of Pakistan; the day Ghazi Mumtaz was wrongfully executed and martyred in the way of Allah, when he did what he did in honour of the Prophet"
Imam Muhammed Asim Hussain, from Yorkshire

and then he does this...

www.yorkshirestandard.co.uk/news/yorkshire-imam-declares-is-psychopaths-following-pilot-murder-9880/

so he is applauding violence and death and killing for blasphemy on the one hand but on the other, condemns ISIS.

You'll forgive me if I choose not to bother reading another silly word you write, Fanjo.

you've clearly developed your own narrative.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 26/07/2016 21:45

Mooingcow fine I shall happily not read any more of your patronising posts.all is good.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 26/07/2016 21:47

It's very bemusing isn't it Ohyou? Being told how you feel ..which isn't actually how you feel

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/07/2016 21:52

absolutely. Still when someone categorises you as 'your sort' it's clear they struggle to see people as individuals each with our own thoughts, experiences and background.

BeyondBeyondBeyondBeyondBeyond · 26/07/2016 23:05

Yy.

But the festival will go ahead this weekend as planned. 200 000 visitors and heightened security.
They appear to be stepping up security everywhere. Three abandoned bags in three different locations today in the city...the bus station, an u bahn station and a suburb led to evacuations.

Either everyone is more on the ball concerning suspect packages or it is divert/distract/see how good the police are at reacting. Hoping it is the former but as our lovely mayor says, we should not let terror fuck up our festival...in not so many words.

KimmySchmidtsSmile · 27/07/2016 21:06

Sorry, should have said am referring to Nuremberg.

EllyMayClampett · 27/07/2016 21:19

Thank goodness no one was hurt.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/07/2016 21:21

That second article says that the teenager involved in the foiled attack had email contact with the previous killer, so perhaps the police found him by trawling through the correspondence

If so, good work guys ...

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 28/07/2016 06:52

The Mail are getting worse. The explosion outside the refugee centre was aerosols and I assume anit refugee, which the Mail would support, yet they still call it "IsIS fears". Vicious.

Good work if latter attack was foiled.

BillSykesDog · 28/07/2016 20:27

Er, it seems likely a few of the recent incidents in Germany including today's in Cologne have been aimed at government buildings and state employees. So not necessarily aimed at refugees and quite possibly at immigration administrators.

Besides, I thought we weren't supposed to blame or point fingers without hard evidence? Unless, of course, predictably, that's only supposed to apply to certain groups....
