I've heard all those feeble justifications you quote, MissJ, from people I would otherwise consider rational, intelligent and well informed - it's a weird kind of blindspot IMO.

It is not a question of "banning guns." Guns aren't banned over in the UK either--there are just stricter controls on owning them (as there should be).

I fail to see how voting out in the EU referendum is going to make any difference to the risk of ISIS attacks in this country. If they want to get into the country then they will regardless of our membership or lack of of the EU.

I was out in gay Soho last night and felt really on edge for some reason. I looked at all the young lads dancing to Justin Beiber with their mates and I thought what a lovely carefree Saturday night they were all having, but something wasnt right. There were police everywhere and ive not seen it before. I left early and woke up to read this. I know it couldn't have happened whilst i was out but it made me realise last night how vulnerable we all are. RIP.

IF ( & it is a big IF )the killer was a member of ISIS then he is no more a Muslim than the IRA are Christians & spreading scaremongering filth like that only makes it worse.
