UKIP on 20% and a chicken on the loose in the House. They're desperate!

"Labour has a five-point lead over the Conservatives in the latest Opinium/Observer poll, which shows that half of voters think the prime minister is looking for excuses not to take part in live television debates ahead of the 7 May general election."

www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/jan/17/labour-takes-lead-conservatives-cameron-opinium-poll

Why don't the pollsters ask the question that the public asks themselves - Would an empty chair perform better than Cameron in the TV debates?

The Establishment promoted Russell Brand to try and stop the people and their party - UKIP. Now we hear that Cameron's sixth cousin, Oxbridge graduate, Alastair James Hay Murray, who "is in remainder both to English and Scottish peerage titles, including the barony of Strange and the dukedom of Atholl" and plays the role of "The Pub Landlord" is standing against the People's Politician, Nigel Farage.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Murray

They're desperate. Will they ask Laurel and Hardy to stand aginst the People's Party next? Oh wait, they've already got Cameron and Clegg.

Claig it really isn't the establishment you know, it's them, it attracts people, shall we say, without filters? It's nobody other than them being complete and utter numpties. It's not a revolution love, and it really isn't going to be, not even in the way that the SDP were back in the eighties. It's just Nigel's little money spinner.

claig · 23/01/2015 16:19

'run by a collection of village idiots.'

That is exactly how the Esatblishment want to portray the People's Party because that is what the Establishment think of the People.

They will say "there you are, you've had your fun, now go back and vote for us Oxbridge PPEs, we're the only ones who can get things done".

This is an epic battle - as big as the patricians versus the plebeians in Ancient Rome.

This battle is the Elite vs the People, the Establishment parties versus plucky old UKIP, who are being undermined and mocked at every stage.

But it ain't over yet, the proof is that they are desperate!

'it really isn't the establishment you know, it's them, it attracts people, shall we say, without filters?'

It is the Establishment. 4 million people voted UKIP in the EU elections. They may not have had a PPE, but they aren't stupid. So how come the selection panels let so many fruitcakes through?

How come Natasha Bolter got through as a candidate when she joined recently having previously been a Labour member who seemed just a bot less progressive than Cameron and claimed she had a PPE? There is such a thing as incompetence, the Conservatives are prrof of that, but this goes beyond incpmpetence.

Didn't the 3 letters "PPE" ring warning bells and set off flashing lights, didn't someone check the name of the college etc?

There is such a thing as incompetence, the Conservatives are prrof of that, but this goes beyond incpmpetence. It certainly does, and that's precisely what I mean when I say it's their idiocy.

Dawndonnaagain · 23/01/2015 16:29

By thier I mean UKIP, not the establishment. It attracts people with a little money, no filters and bears of little brain. It attracts misogynists and racists. So, 4 million folk have voted for them, and the uk voting population is how many...

claig · 23/01/2015 16:32

'but this goes beyond incpmpetence. It certainly does, and that's precisely what I mean when I say it's their idiocy.'

UKIP are on 20% in the opinion polls. They represent the wishes, hopes and aspirations of millions of good citizens. There is only one explanantion for this level of incompetence and this level of laughter by MPs in the Establishment parties. Someone is having a laugh at the People's expense.

OP posts:
Dawndonnaagain · 23/01/2015 16:35

Someone is having a laugh at the People's expense.
Yes dear, that would be Nige 'man of Dulwich College' Farage and his cronies going to EU meetings, doing no work and getting paid for it.

claig · 23/01/2015 16:39

DawnDonnaagain, you may be right. We will have to wait and see if the Manifesto ends up as "drivel" drafted by former Conservatives. Then we will know for sure.

But it won't help the Establishment because the people are in revolt and a party will eventually meet their needs. The date of the people's victory may be delayed, but it can't be stopped.

There have been many such parties over the years, and like the SDP before them, they will disappear in a puff of their own disapproval!

claig · 23/01/2015 16:46

That is a good move. 21 years old, fantastic. That shows that young people vote UKIP too. He will try and get the student vote in Sheffield where Clegg has let students down with the whole tuition fees fiasco.

'There have been many such parties over the years, and like the SDP before them, they will disappear in a puff of their own disapproval!'

No there has never ever been a party like UKIP because UKIP is a People's Party. It is the first time ever that there has been a People's Party in Britain apart from the Labour Party when it was first formed. That is why UKIP won the largest landslide in postwar British parliamentary history in Clacton. It was because it stood for the people against the elites.

The SDP were full of Oxbridge graduates, the same old, same old. They change parties and change hats but they all went to the same schools and same universities and many of them studied PPE.

UKIP is the People's Revolt. The Establishment mock it because it is not full of them and not for them, it is for the people. The Establishment never mocked the SDP because it was full of them.

"21 years old, fantastic"

I hope he is capable and knows his onions because UKIP voters are not politically correct and don't like being patronised. They want someone who has lived and therefore understands the issues. 21 is very young and he may not have grasped all the cons and scams and propaganda and lies that us oldies have witnessed and seen.

But he is studying politics, so he should be more intelligent than some of teh candidates who were selected somehow and made gaffes that aided the Establishment and gave them an open goal by enabbling them to portray UKIP as "beyond a joke" and "like a stag night out of control".

OP posts:
Dawndonnaagain · 23/01/2015 19:58

Trust me, he's a laughing stock in Sheffield, oh, and what happened to 'all the PPEs, that you have been slighting for quite some time?

claig · 23/01/2015 20:03

When I say PPE I mean Oxford because those are the ones that the Establishment selects and promotes and advances.

OP posts:
claig · 23/01/2015 20:06

'Trust me, he's a laughing stock in Sheffield'

It wouldn't surprise me. He was a former LibDem, so my guess is he may believe in manmade climate change. If that is the case, that won't go down well with teh UKIP voter who is far too savvy to fall for that Establishment PPE malarkey.

What can the people do? We have to hope that UKIP is for real and that the Establishment is not having a laugh. There is no alternative.

OP posts:
Dawndonnaagain · 23/01/2015 20:54

Claig have you read any peer reviewed scientific papers on climate change. I really do mean those words, peer reviewed, scientific.

claig · 23/01/2015 21:04

'have you read any peer reviewed scientific papers on climate change'

Why on earth would I want to do that? It's as plain as the nose on Pinocchio's face what it is really all about.

Next you'll ask me if I have read and believe the LibDem manifesto, Labour's five point plan and Cameron's modernisation crusade.

OP posts:
claig · 23/01/2015 21:05

I haven't hugged a husky or a hoodie and I'm not about to start. That is for PPEs.

OP posts:
claig · 23/01/2015 21:06

That's how you get selected, promoted and advanced by the Establishment.
I'm with UKIP, with the People. I'm not a PPE.

"No 'serious person' should doubt man behind climate change, says Tony Blair

No serious-minded person could possibly doubt that climate change is manmade, Tony Blair has claimed, as several influential figures move to head off fresh doubts about the integrity of the science behind global warming."

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/10329520/No-serious-person-should-doubt-man-behind-climate-change-says-Tony-Blair.html

Is that not enough to tell you all you need to know?

Blair, a PPE, to boot!

No wonder the Establishment fears UKIP.

The whole game is up. Top of UKIP's agenda is to scrap the Climate Change Act, unless their manifesto is rewritten by former conservatives to end up as "drivel".

OP posts:
claig · 23/01/2015 21:16

They underestimated the people and they underestimated UKIP.
It's a people's revolution. The whole game is up.

“Among the predictions is that by 2030 it’s quite possible that Bangkok could be under water,” he said, “Now these other explanation, and the people who doubt the existence of man-made climate change, I would simply say, the doubters don’t have a problem with climate change, they have a problem with science.”

However there are several senior climatologists who have questioned the IPCC explanations for “the pause” in the rise in global surface temperatures, and argued that the kind of ‘certainty’ spoken by the climate change industry is unhelpful and could damage the credibility of the IPCC report ."

"could damage" Grin

They are having a laugh.
