UKIP on 20% and a chicken on the loose in the House. They're desperate!

"Labour has a five-point lead over the Conservatives in the latest Opinium/Observer poll, which shows that half of voters think the prime minister is looking for excuses not to take part in live television debates ahead of the 7 May general election."

www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/jan/17/labour-takes-lead-conservatives-cameron-opinium-poll

Why don't the pollsters ask the question that the public asks themselves - Would an empty chair perform better than Cameron in the TV debates?

The Establishment promoted Russell Brand to try and stop the people and their party - UKIP. Now we hear that Cameron's sixth cousin, Oxbridge graduate, Alastair James Hay Murray, who "is in remainder both to English and Scottish peerage titles, including the barony of Strange and the dukedom of Atholl" and plays the role of "The Pub Landlord" is standing against the People's Politician, Nigel Farage.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Murray

They're desperate. Will they ask Laurel and Hardy to stand aginst the People's Party next? Oh wait, they've already got Cameron and Clegg.

"Prof Judith Curry, a leading climate scientist at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the US , is among the scientists who supported the consensus of the findings fourth IPCC report in 2007, but now says scientists need to admit uncertainty on the issue.

The drive to reach consensus had led to “oversimplifying the problem and its solution and hyper-politicising both, introducing biases into the science and related decision-making processes,” she wrote in a recent article for The Australian newspaper."

Soon some scientists will begin to backtrack and leave the politicians high and dry in order not to harm their credibility when the whole political climate changes as people's parties gain power.

The only ones left singing from the climate catastrophe hymnsheet will be the PPEs, but no one will listen to them. Everyone will know they are the PPEs who cried wolf, the puffed up promoted, selected, advanced Emperors who had no clothes.

Here is what a PPE, Blair, said

“After this panel assessment this week, there will no longer be any serious doubt in the minds of serious people that this is a serious problem," he said, "The question is can we find the means of galvanising the [political] leaderships to act in the way they should?”

Can they find the means or is time against them?

Will UKIP bring down the entire climate house of cards and scrap the Climate Chaneg Act.

Are they desperate? You bet!
Can they galvanise the people? It's not looking good.

OP posts:
claig · 23/01/2015 21:34

'there will no longer be any serious doubt in the minds of serious people that this is a serious problem'

Notice the repetition and emphasis of 'serious'. Reminds me a bit of an Oxbridge spin doctor trying to drive the point home to the public.

Do they think the people are stupid? You bet!

OP posts:
Dawndonnaagain · 23/01/2015 22:07

So no peer reviewed scientific evidence then.

claig · 23/01/2015 22:12

I've always found that the best rule in life is to listen carefully to what the PPE, Blair, says and then believe and do the opposite.

OP posts:
Isitmebut · 23/01/2015 22:20

I have adopted similar infallible political yardstick Claig ... thank you.

Back on the meaningless 'PPEs', huh.

claig · 23/01/2015 22:31

'Back on the meaningless 'PPEs'

It is only meaningless to those who fail to understand how the system works.

Homer's Odyssey in the original Greek is probably meaningless to you, but it isn't to Farage and those who know their onions.

OP posts:
Isitmebut · 23/01/2015 22:47

Claig …. I am a follower of Homer as didn’t he say;

“facts are meaningless. You can use facts to prove anything that is remotely true.”

And re “Farage and his onions”.

”It takes two to lie Marge. One to lie and one to listen”

Its all Greek to me. lol

claig · 23/01/2015 22:57

“facts are meaningless. You can use facts to prove anything that is remotely true.”
Yes, he was a visionary and foresaw the New Labour era.

'”It takes two to lie Marge. One to lie and one to listen”'

Exactly, this seems to be a reference to a serious peer reviewer scientist discussing serious climate catastrophe with a serious PPE?

But the public, wiser than all the PPEs put together, just say "you cannot be serious " to PPE, Blair.

Tycoon Arron banks and his wife are off teh Christmas card list of some of the snooty Tories they know, but Arron doesn't care, he's UKIP through and through.

This is what he says to the Financial Times. He seems to be on the UKIP wavelength

“Ukip’s purpose is shaking up politics .... It’s the Roman mob, it’s the mob rising.”

I said it was an epic battle like the plebeians versus the patricians in Ancient Rome. They will need every "comedian" and PPE (though some claim they are one and the same thing) to stop the people and their party.

It's like Joshua at the battle of Jericho all over again.

Joshua fit the battle of Jericho and Cameron is frit of the battle of the TV debate with Farage.

The lyrics of the song even mention Gideon. Is history repeating?

"Joshua fit the battle of Jericho
Jericho, Jericho
Joshua fit the battle of Jericho
And the walls come tumblin' down

You may talk about the men of Gideon
You may talk about the men of Saul
But there're none like good old Joshua
At the battle of Jericho

Google Go Skippy Hmm

So Amjad Bashir has defected to the Tories.

Bit of a shock

I went to a meeting he was speaking at and he seemed very Kippy. Strange

claig · 24/01/2015 21:24

'So Amjad Bashir has defected to the Tories.'

Yes he appears to have defected to the Tories after he was suspended by UKIP over what seems to be financial matters.

I think there will be more defections to the conservatives before the election, possibly even big names - politically correct modernisers, that type.

There will be tricks up the Establishment's sleeves that are still to be played. They know the situation is desperate for them. Climate change is one of their key policies worldwide, demanded by their masters, they cannot afford to fail over that or their jobs and perks will be on the line.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 21:33

The leadership rumours over UKIP have already started The Establishment would like nothing better than to see Farage leave the post. They know they are powerless against him, because the people are with him.

But it seems Farage may be losing his bottle, the pressure of the Establishment may be getting to him. They are desperate and he knows it. If the Establishment can get one of their politically correct types in as leader then they know that UKIP will be finished forever, it will all be over.

They would love Carswell, in my opinion, but he doesn't stand a chance.

"Others have poured cold water on any potential leadership ambitions, like Ukip MP Douglas Carswell, who told Buzzfeed this week: “I’m not one of UKIP’s major players... I’m not playing that game, I’m not playing that level."

www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2015/01/23/steven-woolfe-ukip-leadership-migration_n_6525134.html

He's a moderniser and that is not where the people are at. It is where the Establishment are at, but they can't fool the people with that stuff

The Establishment will probably beat the people and finish UKIP in the end, but it won't be easy for them, because the people are awake. It will be one hell of a ride. That's why they need every luvvie, every PPE and every "comedian" they can call on to beat the people.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 21:41

'Nick Wood: Ukip is beginning to sound like all the rest'

conservativewoman.co.uk/nick-wood-ukip-beginning-sound-like-rest/

That is what they want to happen to UKIP. They want to end the people's dream that change can come. They want the people to give up hope, return to their box, vote Oxbridge, demand more PPEs and shut up.

"Last but never least is Ukip. The problem here is that Ukip is fast morphing from being a low tax, small state, patriotic, non-PC Thatcherite party, epitomised by Nigel Farage’s jolly saloon bar quips, into another ghastly liberal charabanc."
...
Whatever the explanation, the message is obvious enough as we enter 2015. All political parties, even the once splendidly isolated Ukip, revert to a dreary PC mean. May be Russell Brand is right. Voting for any of them is a waste of a good pencil."

Take, for instance, the lecture delivered by Douglas Carswell, its first MP, in the Mail on Sunday last weekend. It could have been straight out of the Cameron playbook."

They will use every trick they have got to finish UKIP.

Will they succeed? Will they beat the people? Only time will tell.

People all over the country have their fingers crossed and hope that there are some people in UKIP who are for real and who will outwit all their "comedians" at their game.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 21:59

But there is still hope.

Nick Wood who wrote that article about the tragedy of UKIP turning politically correct just like all the rest is someone influential. He used to be Head of Communications for the Conservative Party.

So there are actually some influential real conservatives and ex-conservatives who feel like the ordinary, powerless, mocked, laughed at, shafted people who have had to put up with so much.

The people have had enough for years but no one listens to us, but when influential people start joining the people in having had enough, then change can still come.

They'll trick us, they'll spin us, they'll smear us, they'll mock us, they'll get "comedians" to laugh at us, but they will never beat us. We may be down, but the light will never go out.

OP posts:

Claig. Have you read the 'secret' memo about the hustings? guido has it. Where 12 new members allegedly joined? Have a read if that

claig · 24/01/2015 22:22

No I haven't heard about that. Will try and find it.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 22:29

Yes found it. I'm not surprised. That's politics.

Guido has got this

"David Cameron says he is “absolutely delighted” UKIP MEP Amjad Bashir has returned* to the Tories, as it emerges Bashir allegedly met with what UKIP are claiming is a “terror organisation“."

order-order.com/tag/ukip/

So does that mean that Bashir was a former conservative, who joined UKIP and has now rejoined the conservatives?

How many former conservatives have UKIP got? How many more will rejoin their old party before the election?

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 22:34

Remember this guy?

"Former UKIP spokesman was kidnapping gang 'boss'"
...
A man who served as UKIP's Commonwealth spokesman for a year is the former leader of a kidnapping gang in Pakistan, BBC Newsnight has revealed.
...
Bhutto, who is also a former member of the Conservative Party, told Newsnight he had admitted the charges against him in 2005 rather than risk being sent back to Pakistan and hanged.

"The evidence which was brought against me was from Pakistan. The allegation was simply because of political rivalry," he said.

He said he planned to appeal against his conviction for conspiracy to blackmail.

Bhutto said he had been granted political asylum in the UK in 2008 and that the case against him in Pakistan had been thrown out by the country's Supreme Court.

But senior Pakistani police sources insisted that Bhutto was still wanted in Pakistan."

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-26019668

Poor old UKIP. Someone is having a laugh at the people's expense.

But fortunately the public no longer believe anything bad that is said about UKIP. they don't care, it is water off a duck's back.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 22:38

I think the Establishment has got some of their people in UKIP from the very top to the bottom and lots more tricks will be played before election day to try and stop the people and their party.

OP posts:
WetAugust · 24/01/2015 22:46

thanks for that BBC link Claig. I didn't know about that. What on earth were UKIP associating with him as recently as they were after that news came out last year?

I despair at some of the stuff that's being revealed these days. The good old incorruptible Brutush values are dead and buried.

I said a while ago that I thought it would be external, not domestic issues and financial, not political pressure that collapses the EU. I shall be watching the Greek elections tomorrow very keenly

It seems that the Germans are now weakening up to the fact that Draghi and not Merkel controls the ECB and they don't like that discover. Meanwhile we have to hope that Syrzia wins tomorrow so it gives Podemos credibility at the Spanish elections

claig · 24/01/2015 22:49

"Amjad Bashir said UKIP had become a "party of ruthless self-interest", was "pretty amateur" and had a "ridiculous" lack of policies.
...
He had met David Cameron on Friday to discuss the move, and reported the prime minister told him he was "absolutely delighted" that he was rejoining the Tories.

Mr Bashir had previously been a Conservative Party member , and became involved with UKIP three years ago.

But he said the party was "delusional" about its chances of winning seats in May's general election."

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 22:51

'What on earth were UKIP associating with him as recently as they were after that news came out last year?'

My guess is they weren't told and didn't know, or some people knew but may not have told them.

Don't forget the aim is to make UKIP look "pretty amateur" and "ridiculous".

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 22:55

'I said a while ago that I thought it would be external, not domestic issues and financial, not political pressure that collapses the EU.'

Yes, the entire elite's EU plan is in serious trouble. Establishments are in panic mode all over Europe. Populist parties like UKIP are rising everywhere because people have had enough. But Establishments everywhere have got lots of tricks up their sleeve to save their bacon.

I think PEGIDA is one of their tricks and we will see lots more tricks of all types because they are desperate to force through the EU and climate change agendas and time is running out for them as the people have had enough.

OP posts:
claig · 24/01/2015 23:02

'He [Bashir] had met David Cameron on Friday to discuss the move'

Blimey it must have been important to meet the Prime Minister. Who would have thought that a defection of an MEP from UKIP to the Conservatives would warrant a meeting with the Prime Minister.
