I note that the new 'buffer zone' is taking up a large chunk of Gaza now. If the White House keep offering condemnations as feeble as the one they did today, I wonder how long it will take Israel to bomb the rest of Gaza's population into the sea and grab all the land and gas? Three weeks? Less?

@AishaHosseini Its so true that Hamas threatens the media so that they only report what Hamas wants the world to see, I think it's amazing to hear from an innocent voice inside Gaza. It must be horrendous to live under threat your whole life and you have Hamas on the inside and now dealing with the retaliation from Israel. Israel also wants peace for you, they want Gaza to have good hospitals and schools and a proper infrastructure. With Hamas gone, which is the ultimate goal, peace could return to Gaza but Israel has to decimate the tunnels and the rockets and all the weapons of destruction that they have accumulated!
Israel are a democracy, they are a peace loving people, they will let everyone live their lives as long as they are left in peace too. No more rockets fired endlessly at their people, which by the way don't make the news as it happens every single day of every single month.
It is a good thing what Israel are doing, they are trying to cleanse Gaza of terrorists, unfortunately too many people there are totally indoctrinated into the terrorist mind set, too many of the children are brought up learning how to use a gun, how to hate the Jews and Israel, can you say that you would happily live in peace with Israel as your neighbour?

There are so many people on here with suggestions for Israel. It's amazing they are all military strategists. Israel is a legitimate state and was agrees by the League of Nations in San Remo 1920. I am not going to defend Israel right to exist. It does exit so let's move on from there. It isn't a perfect country by any means. There are an enormous amount of cultures all living together. There is some conflict but mostly they all rub along. It's one of the most inclusive societies I have ever been to. 1.5 million Arabs - Israeli Arabs live alongside Jews. Work alongside live along side and go to school. So your apartheid arguments are total and utter crap. Apartheid of you want to find it is present in every Arab country. So think about that next time you fill up your car and pour money it the oil rich Arabs. My family came from Egypt to Israel. We were thrown out of a country we had lived in for centuries. Our businesses land and houses we're taken. My cousin had his apartment block blown up by Arabs and was interned in a concentration camp called Huckstep. After WW2 there were millions of displaced people 700000 population. Exchange when Pakistan was created all resettled. Gaza has a population of about 1.5 million.
