Here you go.

OP posts:

You would think his socks would be on his prosthetics unless removed for washing.

My friend who had a prosthetic used to leave her pop sock and shoe on hers when she wasn't using it.

AmIthatSpringy · 18/04/2014 09:52

Looking Was he looking for the socks in the dark? I missed that. I assumed, rightly or wrongly, that they stayed on the end of his prosthetics.

I read an article a couple of years ago about how he would go to functions, then realise he didn't have black socks, as there were usually white on the end of his legs.

Anyway, the sun is shining here, it's Easter weekend and I feel I have to take a step away from this, as I am thinking about things while I'm falling asleep and when I wake up.

I'll see you all in a couple of weeks Smile

The Vanity Fair article is touching.

Reeva seems to get forgotten. I can't believe the OP fan club outside the court every day.

LookingThroughTheFog · 18/04/2014 10:11

The sock thing - I'm pretty sure he looked for them separately, though it's possibly I misunderstood that.

It would have been one of the days he was testifying this week. Nel was making the point that he did an awful lot in the dark, and after he'd put his legs on (in the dark) he looked for the socks. How did he look for the socks? By touch.

I don't know why I remember it, and it's possible that I don't remember it at all, but my brain put it there. I just think if his socks are always on the prosthetics, I'd have remembered him saying 'the socks are always on the legs'.

Madcatgirl · 18/04/2014 11:58

I assumed he was looking for the socks he put on his stumps in the dark.

I need to stay away from twitter, because I start looking at all sorts of accounts and them find myself fence sitting with a view to innocent based on all his past good work!

His public profile just doesn't square at all with what we know he has done. I feel desperately sorry for Reeva, her family and the pistorius family. What a dreadful situation OP has put them all in.

A comment on the VF article led me to this one

www.news24.com/MyNews24/Oscar-Pistorius-Hero-or-Hooligan-20111103

Written in 2011.

RonaldMcDonald · 18/04/2014 15:25

He did say that he looked for and put on his socks in the pitch black room. I was huh? As ever
I was wondering if he meant a sock for inside the prosthetics? This wondering was based upon nothing but I imagined that his prosthetics would be covered in socks already

Those twitter accounts are filled with utter tools spouting any crap they can pour from their frankly disorder minds

Pistorius being a great role model in sport does not mean that he is not a murderer

RonaldMcDonald · 18/04/2014 15:28

Interestingly the pathologist who witnessed the autopsy of Ms Steenkamp has now refused to give evidence for the defence of OP

Aventurine · 18/04/2014 15:59

Part of the Vanity Fair article has made me swing a bit over to the burglar theory again. The bit about what tends to happen in a burglary over there (woman raped, kids urinated on, man shot in the back) and the bit about him previously thinking someone he was staying with was a burglar and rushing at them with a gun pointed at them.

Aventurine · 18/04/2014 16:00

Interesting Ronald

ZuluinJozi · 18/04/2014 16:10

I have just gone through the tweets mentioned earlier, but @EmGREmM seems to have more knowledge about OP and RS relationship than what has been mentioned in court and alledges that @socialitymedia is Reeva's half sister. Socialitymedia says @EmGREmM is Oscar
