Due to all the recent attention MM's abduction has had in the media, it's only natural to assume that is who you are referring to with a thread title like this one.
I must admit my heart literally skipped a few beats when saw it.

The title appears to have been changed Confused the original never sais anything about "4 year old" it just said "Blonde girl found in Roma Camp"

I didn't realise it was the same thread at first as I started reading it earlier
I didn't think it was mm with the first title but do think the second is better

Re the DNA database. It wouldn't need to contain everyone, just voluntarily the relations of children that have been abducted. I would give mine if it meant I was more likely to get my child back

The general issue here is how on earth were that family allowed to register that (and all their other children) for benefits with no proof of birth.

i'm not a conspiracist, but yes, Ben Needham's parents must have nearly had kittens today.

There seem to be lots of other children that may not be biological children of the couple. I hope they all get reunited with their families. Do they kidnap them to pickpocket?

I really have no idea why they might have taken any dc if that is how it came about. If that were the idea behind it, you'd have to balance out the possible profits against the cost of feeding and clothing them all. It is all very odd. I presume they said they were home births, the mothers had never been to see a GP during pregnancy and somehow therefore they got registered without any kind of proof. I agree though, it seems far too easy to do this.

I thought of Ben needham as well.

I hope this girl is reunited with her family if possible, or is placed with a family who will take care of her well, as he world as she knows it has been turned upside down. She looks so scared in those pictures.

Yes if she supposedly gave birth to 6? children within a year I would think that quite a few if not all were not theirs. Are the papers focussing on the little blonde girl for a reason or has their been no information released about the others

In one report she had a few groups of children within months of each other, three dc within a five month period. Sounds like only a few are their biological children.

I asked for the title to be changed due to the first lot of comments and asked for the "blonde" and the age to be removed after people saying they thought of MM. It hadn't even occurred to me when I posted as MM would be much older now than 4 but didn't want thread title upsetting anyone.

It sounds like they will be looking into the woman's 2 identities and the other children registered who may or may not have been with them at some point. It's all very strange and I hope they get to the bottom of things.

Poor child. To suddenly find out you aren't who you think you are, in such a shocking way. I really hope her story has a happy ending.

They haven't said anything about where the other children are?

Viv It says she's being looked after by a children's charity in Greece. They don't know who or where her family are. Are you on the wrong thread?!

She only speaks Roma...she COULD be their child. People do have children with blonde hair when they themselves do not.

Closest she could be would be a non blood relative otherwise the tests would have discovered a link
