I can't believe this man only got 6 years??! here Surely he deserves life at least?? I have a 2 year old and just can't imagine how I would feel if someone did this to her - why on earth did he just get 6 years??

I'm sorry to resurrect a particularly distressing thread but this actually came up in my google search.
Recently in the news I've been bombarded with articles reporting outrageous lenient sentences being passed down to peadophiles committing unforgivable crimes against children. Feeling frustrated, I would really appreciate if anyone knows of any organisation which is actively campaigning and putting pressure on parliament for longer sentences.
I couldn't bare to read the link - the responses tells it all.
