Hanging isn't enough for evil like him. That poor child, my heart goes out to her and her mother.

Truly horrendous - is there anything printed as to why the sentance was short - did the judge publish his summing up.

blackoutthesun · 24/01/2012 20:36

after reading that link, give me 5 minutes in a room with the vile bastard Angry

that poor poor child

ginmakesitallok · 24/01/2012 20:37

I don't believe in capital punishment - but could happily make an exception for him. I just can't understand how someone could do something like that? And I'm glad I can't understand it.

Natasha - no doubt he'll be in solitary and protected from other inmates.

Just shows what a mockery our legal system really isAngry.

thisisyesterday · 24/01/2012 20:41

i am speechless.

and ashamed to live in a country where that is considered justice.

my god, that poor, poor little girl :(

MrsJasonBourne · 24/01/2012 20:41

Oh. My. God.

It's not often I'm in tears on here but that did it.

I also have a two year old girl. I'm having brain meltdown at the thought of it.

I'm also assuming that other prisoners will know what he's done.

KalSkirata · 24/01/2012 20:42

he should never be released

sodapops · 24/01/2012 20:50

That poor little girl Sad and her mum.

Our justice system is seriously fucked if you only get six years because you enter a guilty plea after doing something as horrifc as that. He should never, ever walk the streets again.Angry

stressheaderic · 24/01/2012 20:51

Vile, vile bastard. My DD is nearly 2 and I found this very hard to read.
I hope pain and suffering are inflicted upon him every single day of his sentence.

WinterIsComing · 24/01/2012 21:13

Six years? Fucking hell.

I can't even think of a sufficiently horrible word to describe him.

That poor little child.

mum23girlys · 24/01/2012 21:24

Absolutely shocking. 6 years is making a mockery of the offence and our justice system. Reading it brought tears to my eyes. That poor poor baby and her mum will be scarred for life yet that sick beast will walk free in 6 years

TheCrackFox · 24/01/2012 21:28

That actually made me cry and I never cry.

6 yrs is a disgrace and shows what a mess the legal system is right now.

GypsyMoth · 24/01/2012 21:30

There are no words really. None.

Viewofthehills · 24/01/2012 21:33

Six years. He should never be released so he might as well be hanged.

winnybella · 24/01/2012 21:45

So will he walk in 3?

Clearly someone like that should not be unleashed on society ever again. WTF?

crazynanna · 24/01/2012 21:46

Oh my Lord I am speechless. Just speechless.

Forrestgump · 24/01/2012 23:50

That poor baby.

let's just hope they find out who he is, and his time In prison goes very slowly and painfully.

Callisto · 25/01/2012 08:23

If you all feel the sentence is far too lenient then please contact the Attorney General who will review and possibly up the sentence (you will need the case number and where the man was tried). Also contact your MP and complain.

SardineQueen · 25/01/2012 08:39

Well I haven't read the link but I can guess and so I don't really want to.

Assuming by the comments that I have guessed what he did, then it is known that people who commit this type of crime are rarely "rehabilitated".

Prison needs to be there to commit wider society, and people who commit grotesque crimes against others need to be locked up until there is zero chance of them reoffending for the public protection. For many in certain categories this will mean forever, which is quite alright by me.

SardineQueen · 25/01/2012 08:40
