Hi all I am just posting this in order to keep Joannes name in the public domain- This case is very mysterious and so far the police have no real leads although her parents suspect she has been abducted!

The link is below-

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1341106/Distraught-parents-Jo-Yeates-plead-help-finding-missing-architect-daughter.html

Hopefully someone has the information needed to bring Joanna hope safe and well- her parents are distraught!

Because you are coming across as aggressive. Yours are the only posts on this thread that are making me feel uncomfortable and I wish you would just shut the hell up. If you don't like what is being posted then hide the thread, don't make it about you!

Feenie · 02/01/2011 12:10

I don't understand why someone is allowed to come along, have a pop at me, then I get berated for answering and told to leave the thread. I think that's incredibly unfair, and very cliquey.

Consuela39 · 02/01/2011 12:24

Feenie's posts are the only ones that make me feel uncomfortable, too.

Throwing around insults and being extremely rude is NOT the best way to handle disagreement.

Feenie surely you can see that - by your own admission you 'don't bother to be polite' but when everyone else is being careful to be polite, that makes you look very foolish and rude indeed.

Valium I don't think you should worry, you are arguing against someone who is distorting a lot of things and being highly irrational.

It's not you.

Nevereatyellowsnow · 02/01/2011 12:25

Please please please can we just stop this! How about if we just agree to report posts to mnhq if we believe they are out of line rather than constantly bickering? It really is getting petty now.

Nevereatyellowsnow · 02/01/2011 12:30

X posted with Consuela!

I'm really amazed by how dignified Jo's family are being, my heart goes out to them Sad

Consuela39 · 02/01/2011 12:32

I know - they are a wonderful lot. It's searingly awful that someone who was clearly a very lovely person has had her life taken away.

I know it's wrong to think anyone should be killed, but FGS why someone so outstanding?

It's not fair.

Yes, yes, obviously I am totally immoral...perhaps I just prefer to ignore those posts Feenie than to start a massive retaliation.

See what I mean about the way you post? - insulting me won't get you anywhere. I'll just ignore it because it's irrational and untrue. It's just silly.

Goodbye, and fare well.

perfectstorm · 02/01/2011 13:03

Lastworditis is a treatable condition, you know. You just accept that someone on the internet you will never meet disagrees with you, and may indeed be rude, and don't return to the thread. I could show you heaps where I have done that. It's actually entirely possible. Hmm

In the meantime, congratulations. I didn't know it was possible for this thread to look even worse.

The link to the charity her boyfriend, Greg Reardon, has asked people to donate to, since this renewed squabbling has pushed it way back now. The organisation supported her family when searching for her, and they want to show their appreciation and help other families in that terrifying position, in future.

I have never seen so many deletions in one thread, and most of them have been Feenie's, who seems to argue on each and every page of this thread with one person or another.

Summerbird73 · 03/01/2011 21:29

everything MummieHunnie just said

MummieHunnie · 05/01/2011 08:45

I think that there is going to be another anouncement later today from what I can gather from the bbc news this morning.

There seems to be cctv footage of two people behind Joanna as she walked home that Friday night she was last seen, which would fit in with the landlords statement.

I understand the landlord is staying with friends and is planning on moving out of Clifton and is looking for compensation from the police.

The pictures of Joanna as a little girl are heart breaking.

Summerbird73 · 05/01/2011 08:54

i said at the time that in a weird way i hoped the landlord was guilty - ONLY because he had so much negative media attention that if he is innocent then his life is ruined.

he wants to go after the press too.

her poor poor family Sad

Unwind · 05/01/2011 10:59

As the days go by, it becomes more likely that the murderer will have got away with it. There simply may never be enough evidence to prove anybody guilty beyond reasonable doubt, since they have not yet been able to find enough evidence to charge anyone.

Like the Glenis Caruthers murder, in the same place, so many years ago. The police have made it clear that, despite the similarities, the two cases are not linked, so it is just a horrible coincidence.

Consuela39 · 05/01/2011 12:28

I really, really hope they find out what happened.

They did say that the landlord is still a suspect atm, didn't they? And that they are awaiting the results of some forensic tests.

DeckTheHallWithBowlsOfPomBears · 05/01/2011 12:46

To be honest Consuela, I think they would have found some concrete evidence by now if it was the landlord. I really hope also that they solve this, but the longer it goes on, the less likely it is sadly.

wannaBe · 05/01/2011 13:58

apparently ITN were banned from the press conference for being critical of the police investigation.

Surely they can't say that the landlord is a suspect - he has been released, and the term "on police bail" is meaningless as if new evidence comes to light they will have to go through the arrest process again.

Consuela39 · 05/01/2011 14:10

Oh, don't! It's not fair to wind her up. She might have been a bit explosive about it but I'm sure her heart was in the right place.

I see nothing wrong in trying with some futility to work out the police bail system. It could take us to 1,000 posts quite easily.

Feenie · 05/01/2011 14:24

Smile @scurryfunge.
Thanks Consuela.

wannaBe · 06/01/2011 12:44

according to sky news break on twitter the landlord is expected to be cleared of any wrongdoing by the police.

Nevereatyellowsnow · 06/01/2011 21:54

It looked like the police had evidence against the landlord because they arrested him so swiftly, now I wonder if they were just clutching at straws. I really hope they catch the killer soon but I'm not entirely filled with confidence atm Sad

Unwind · 07/01/2011 12:18

seems they are now investigating a link with the Glenis Carruthers case
