Hi all I am just posting this in order to keep Joannes name in the public domain- This case is very mysterious and so far the police have no real leads although her parents suspect she has been abducted!

The link is below-

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1341106/Distraught-parents-Jo-Yeates-plead-help-finding-missing-architect-daughter.html

Hopefully someone has the information needed to bring Joanna hope safe and well- her parents are distraught!

noddy, i think he will sit there saying no comment. I don't think he will admit anything. he's not stupid. he won't buckle under the pressure.

shock Shock at him being a lib dem!

ValiumTinselton · 30/12/2010 21:42

Feenie, I won't feel 'silly'. That'll be the last thing on my mind.

It's so predictable, whenever there's a thread about the kind of tragedy people need to discuss, to make sense of (which is so entirely human) somebody comes on thread to tell us all off, and then stays on the thread, and is just another voice on the thread really. Even though she thinks she's different fromg the rest.

DeckTheHallWithBowlsOfPomBears · 30/12/2010 21:47

Yeah I agree, those doing the telling off have been strangely prolific on the thread, same on the other thread in chat.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 21:54

The 'ooh, I knew he looked shifty, I always knew it was him' people who've had their posts deleted will feel ridiculous. Or should do.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 21:56

And why 'shock' because someone has been arrested for questioning when they're a Lib Dem? Confused

NormaSknockers · 30/12/2010 22:15

Feenie why the agression in your posts?

I did think the Landlord looked a little "shifty" but tbh I think that's all down to the media and the way they have photographed/interviwed him as they will be clutching at anyone they remotely think may be involved. It doesn't mean I believe him to be the killer. There of course are going to be people who are saying 'Oh I knew it was him' but there always be in sad cases such as these. Why let it get to you so much? If it turns out to not be the case and this man is innocent then people will feel foolish for jumping on the bandwagon - why let it irritate you?

I truly hope this case gets resolved quickly, the not knowing for Joanna's family must be awful.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 22:21

What aggression? Confused

The things that irritate me are the same things that get the posts deleted - they break the rules because they may prejudice a case, or may turn out to be completely unfounded and therefore malicious. I don't actually press the delete button though - take it up with the people who do. They set the rules, and most of us go along with that. And some of us are idiots and post things that are out of order and get pulled.

Why is it so difficult for some people to discuss the case within those parameters?

NormaSknockers · 30/12/2010 22:26

I'm sorry if I misread that, your tone just sounded a little agressive but that's the trouble with words on a screen you can easily misconstrue the meaning behind them.

I don't need to take anything up with the people who press the delete button, if something is pulled then I trust there is good reason for it.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 22:27

Then we are in agreement.

scottishmummy · 30/12/2010 22:28

salacious tittle tattle and speculation about case is ill informed.unless you are on the investigating team you dont know the evidence and info not released in public domain.

NormaSknockers · 30/12/2010 22:33

I believe we are Feenie.

ValiumTinselton · 30/12/2010 23:09

You've had a post removed Feenie. Hmm

Feenie · 30/12/2010 23:25

I will explain again why my post was removed, and I am happy for it to be have been.

Okcomputer posted something her dh had said to her. It was gossip between husband and wife, but made him and his profession easily identifiable in real life. She agreed, was very grateful and thanked me. To avoid identification, both her posts and my explanation of why it could be detrimental to his career were removed.

I am sure she will confirm this if you ask her. But it was a helpful post, not a salacious tittle tattling knitting post.

Okay?

ValiumTinselton · 30/12/2010 23:27

don't care either way. what is annoying is your sanctimonious instruction to others to discuss this case in a matter that is agreable to you. If this thread is nothing more than 'salacious tittle tattling knitting' then to protect your delicate sensibilities, stop reading it and stop posting on it.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 23:33

I'll read and post where I like, thanks, and follow the code of posting. You are completely free to do the same, within those parameters.

ValiumTinselton · 30/12/2010 23:37

that's funny. 'i'll post where i like thanks' after instructing other people how to post. Get over yourself.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 23:39

Not really funny - there are very few rules on MN. Once you know that, it's very easy to post within them. I don't make the rules p if you don't like 'em, take it up with MNHQ.

ValiumTinselton · 30/12/2010 23:43

no need, i am posting within MN's parametres, and even yours too I believe Hmm

Can't you see, you're just the foil to the clickety clacky knitters or whatever you so patronisingly call them? they're on this thread, you're on this thread. Morally, is there really a fag paper between you?

Good night.

Feenie · 30/12/2010 23:48

"Morally, is there really a fag paper between you?"

Have I accused any fanily members?
Have I speculated on the guilt of an as yet innocent man?
Have I speculated at all on the guilt of anyone?
Is there any possibility - at all - that I could have prejudiced a fair trial?

Anything else about my 'morals' you care to question?

No, didn't think so. Biscuit

You mean you don't like me, not that my morals are questionable.

MummieHunnie · 30/12/2010 23:50

Feenie, why would you think some random internet poster does not like you? and it is about you?? strange thing to say!

tingletangle · 30/12/2010 23:53

Lol at shock horror teacher who probably reads the guardian voting Lib Dem.

Feenie · 31/12/2010 00:02

Come up with another reason then, Mummiehunnie - because my morals are clearly not in question here.

Thingumy · 31/12/2010 00:58
LovelyJuggly · 31/12/2010 05:48

What toppings were on the pizza?

Flightattendant29 · 31/12/2010 08:05

No, Feenie has had several posts removed from several threads. (as have I, but for different reasons)

and I concur with the aggressiveness. There has been loads of it - and mainly directed against other posters.

We're not imagining the aggressiveness, that's all I'm saying.

I hope he is charged, because he can't be charged without some decent evidence and that means they have the right person.

If he can't be then we are back to square one.
