Morning I'm still in bed with a cup of tea which DH delivered before he left for his interview. Really hope he gets this one, he's very keen. I am also fed up of him going to interviews. He's been offered 2 jobs over the last few months but neither were quite right.

Mini - hope you managed to get some more sleep!
I shall be buying them plates. The spirit of it is that they bought us a present so we need to buy them a present. All rather sad and not they way I thought things would be at all.

Alice - nightmare! DS is still fast asleep, he was down at 8.45 last night which is early for him at the moment where it's so hot and sunny still at 9pm!

Ali but plates are the first things people chuck at each other when having a row. Technically you could be responsible for either one of them getting injured, does that not make you feel better?

minimammoth · 30/06/2010 08:50

Morning everyone. Unfortunately did not get back to sleep but hey ho. You all know how it is.
Started thinking about areas of doom and whether they should be catagorised, as in the star (hotel) type system or graded like listed buildings. We could have criteria such as square footage covered, environmental impact, hazard possibilities, and duration of doom situation etc so a four star Doom would be pretty bad or a grade one doom.
I obviously have far too little to do. Sad isn't it
Have a good day

I don't know about graded doomness, but i can safely say that my house should be cordoned off as a general house of DOOM.

Bit cross with DH (again, yes it is probably hormones)

So, anyway, I went out for drinks (sparkling water) last night with friends. DH put DD to bed (not difficult, she is very good about bedtime) He had to get up early because of some early calls (4am type thing) DD wakes up at 5.10am. I get up with her properly (after being jumped on) at 6.30 and let DH sleep in. i come downstairs to find DD's dinner leftovers are still on the table, plates all stacked up on the side in the kitchen (despite me making sure that the dishy was empty)The washing off the line squished down into the washing basket so everything is crumpled. I go upstairs to get dressed once he has gone and he hasn't made the bed after he got up either.

I know it is petty, but he always used to do these things, or does them if i am unable to, but if i am able he leaves them. Makes me a bit cross!

I have now cleaned the bathroom and done the floor. Not going to playgroup as i am too knackered and have too much to do. Can't stand my house of doom! (apart from the bathroom that is beautiful and sparkly - will get pics up once new cabinet is in)

JKS I think you should become JustKeepCelebrating - your ds2 is doing so well!

Mini I like the graded idea but we'd also need to somehow categorise by importance- eg a huge pile of newspapers may take up a lot of space but is actually less doomsworthy than a smaller pile of undealt with bills...could be a tricky system to administer!

Alice that would have really annoyed me and I'd probably have done a lot of huffing and slamming around whilst sorting it

Hooray for ds cwwm!

Ooh and can you all join me in celebrating that the c cup does not appear to be dodgy sizing, I am in fact bursting out of all bras apart from that one!

DD at taster session at school right now, have to collect her at 11.30 and take her to preschool for the rest of the day. Be back with a list once I decide what needs to go on it

Seriously lacking motivation and ambition today. DD3 awake since 5 this morning. I just dont want to do anything [stamps foot]

RainbowDrops · 30/06/2010 12:00

Just got back from Little Lambs which DS3 loves, it really wears him out though, when I come in a sat him on the sofa and went into the kitchen to put the milk in the fridge and when I returned he was sound a sleep. I've tucked him in his cot now, he should stay there for a couple of hours.

I have also booked a hairdresser appointment to have a wash, cut and blowdry, I want to change the style a little, I usually only go for a trim. I asked how much it would be and I am at the price. How much would you pay for a wash, cut and blowdry?? It's not a super trendy salon, just the one local to me. I won't tell you what the price is yet, just in case it's me being tight

freaky Great news about the C cup, it's a great place to be, take it from someone who knows!! Although I do wish mine were less saggy
