Morning!

Plum, it's very hard. My Dad's Mum had pure white hair for years and years, gorgeous.

Ali, sounds like you had a great day yesterday.

Alice, remember to spend lots of time on your exercise ball or hands and knees from now!

Mini, paperwork is the pits.

It looks like gardening weather today, it holds.

Alice, I felt like I was ready to pop from 37 weeks.

Til 41+5.

I haven't done anything yet.

Alicetheinvisible · 24/07/2010 10:30

I keep going from "Ooh, could this be things starting" to "He won't come before his due date"

TBh, i feel too well, i can sleep, heartburn isn't too bad, i am able to do the horses, i can even bend right down to do their feet, which strangely i couldn't a month ago. I can sit crossed legged on the floor. I am getting very tired though, but suspect iron is still a bit low.

JustKeepSwimming · 24/07/2010 10:49

Alice - you sound better than i feel today! Have done something to neck/shoulder and it's been sore for a few days, have had a dodgy tummy (something i ate i think) for a few days too. And have not been sleeping well.

Morning all, we're all still in jammies too,
I'm having alovely time at the minute with dh & dcs but outside of that everything else is going pearshaped see here if bored no need to respond,

Wasting my nannie would be very , I always tell her to stop dying her hair and she says "If I did you know what, it would be BLACK, BLACK imagine, I love that beautiful white hair" all in a very broad Belfast accent its hilarrious sometimes I say it just to see her complain about having black hair

Went to collect dh from airport yesterday and forgot there is an overhead walkway on the main road beside the airport so we parked there and watched the planes until dh rang,
then we went to Mc donalds then to this fabulous new park that has opened, it is amazing, it has this thing called an i-player, and loads of climbing stuff and enclosed slides the dcs and us loved it, than we all went for 99's, so it was a lovely end to a crappy day

So today I really need to get stuck in, and I literaly am stuck in as there is a rally on in the lane outside my house so can only get in & out at certain times.

Alice Is it a good idea to pretend you are in labour your IL's might decide to stay and help out with dd[eek]

need to get everyone washed & dressed
load dishy & on
hang out remaining wet wash
put wet wash on
clean out hoover
hoover

then I will be back

Nice one!

  • ice lolly done
+ feed birds done + more washing up done

Next -

  • water vegpatch
  • tidy garden for lawnmowing
  • dry pots

I'm considering a different approach to the weekly cleaning jobs. Rather than as and when, approach it like a cleaner's job. Does that sound silly?

PlumBumMum · 24/07/2010 17:26

Wasting no not silly at all,
I was thinking the same, although would be abit if people seen a timetable on the wall(worse still if nothing was crossed off)

I've been pottering about and chatting way too much to dh, haven't got much done, so going to hoover now and then make a combo like dinner
homemade burgers
wedges
onion rings & salad only went out yesterday & forgot the bloomin salad

need to get everyone washed & dressed done
load dishy & on done
hang out remaining wet wash done
put wet wash on done
clean out hoover done
ring nannie arrange to visit tomorrow done

hoover
make burgers
bath dcs
start sorting some clean washing

wastingaway · 24/07/2010 17:48
  • water vegpatch done
  • tidy garden for lawnmowing done
  • dry pots some
  • more pot washing done
+ tea done + hang out washing done + fold washing off airers done + put load in done
  • tidy downstairs
  • DS bath and bed

Plum, I'm going to put a cleaning kit together to make it easier.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 24/07/2010 18:07

Sounds yum plum! We are having eggs, saute potatoes, mushroom, onion and baked beans. DD wants a piece of ham with hers too.

Verrrrry slow day here today and naughty dd drew a 1ft high ballerina on her wall last night (it was a v good pic shame it was on the wall) and cleaning that off took paint off the wall, then ds decide to copy her and scribble on another bit of wall this morning Needless to say they no longer have access to any pens/pencils.

H is bringing round 2 buggies, a baby chair, some toys and 2 big boxes of baby clothes tomorrow that I somehow have to find a home for until I sell them...not sure where! Of course now that he is oving to a 2 bed house he won't be able to keep any of it at his for me Never mind that he will be living in a 2 bed by himself and there are 3 of us plus ALL the dc stuff in my 2 bed house

wastingaway · 24/07/2010 19:13

Freak, that doesn't particularly fair.

PlumBumMum · 24/07/2010 19:54

dcs are in the bath,

I keep saying this will probably be the last time they are all in together, but I keep squeezing them in

Freak thats sounds yum too

at dh, just smile and think of selling them on ebay when he comes

wonder how Ali got on sharing her news

RainbowDrops · 24/07/2010 19:56

freak Not fair at all!!

JKS 2 hour nap sounds blissful

wasting sounds like a good plan, I really need a routine with the cleaning, haven't found one that I stick to yet!!

I am a little , DH used to keep hens as a child and really wanted to have some now, I was persuaded and a couple of months ago with bought 5 chicks (guaranteed layers), we have had a great time watching them grow and I've become quite attached, but recently we've noticed one of them has grown quicker, has larger comb and wattle and is obvioulsly a cockerel, we cannot keep him because some of my neighbours would complain about the noise. We have phoned the people we got them from and they will take him back and replace him with a hen. I will miss him, he is so good looking, but he needs to be somewhere less built up. I've got to tell my older DC.

Posting my list today because the house really needs TLC tomorrow, have been a true slattern today

wastingaway · 25/07/2010 09:58

Morning!

I bought some Pampers yesterday, need to get on top of the washing.
My cloth nappies are stinky and I need to find a way to wash them every night I think, as the bucket fills up so quick with all the boosters now. Not so bad when it's sunny, but the damp got so bad last winter and my whole dinig room ends up filled with laundry on airers.

What you selling Freak? Got anything in a big toddler size? DS is two, but very tall.

Plum, hope your visit is nice.

Mini, I remember drawing on the wall when I was 3. Rented flat of course.

Rainbow, that's a shame. Cockrels are gorgeous aren't they.
