I am completely lacking the motivation to get going today, and I'm not sure why. I'm so sick of this rut.

Rainbow - I hate rushing in the morning, nightmare.

DD happily slept in new room. I on the other hand was awake all night waiting for her to wake up at 4/5am (which she did). At midnight I went in and put another blanket on her and here was a storm about 3am. So not a roaring success for me but at least she was fine about it .

JKS I have actually got a little lump in my throat for you, that is fab news!

DS fell asleep on the floor while I was getting his lunch ready!! So he is in bed. He's been aleep for about 1.5 hours, not sure how long to leave him.......
So I have exercised and now DH and I are going to have late lunch, once I can get myself out from in front of Wimbledon....

HMHB Rushing in the morning usually ends up with the day being a manic nightmare, which it is today. DS3 is in a foul mood, he keeps hitting DD1. I can't remember my other DC hitting as much as he does, the thing is he looks at me when he does it, he has realised that he will get a reaction, I think I will start ignoring him when it happens and pay attention to whoever he has hit.

Great news about the physio and OT JKS alice Are ice lollies your craving?? I craved ice lollies and ice cubes when I was carrying my boys.

Poor you alice [vom] I ahev been very lucky with both of mine with regards to poo (so far!) though there have been a few instances of carpet scrubbing! Can't believe how well my ds is doing on the toilet without me even attempting to train him Such a relief after dd though so hope he sticks to it.

The blah morning turned into an awful afternoon, my fault for not focusing on ds needs enough. He basically whinged and sat down and drove me nuts all the way to town and back and I've ended up hauling him off the floor, shouting and feeling like shit. He's fallen asleep on the boob immediately, so I've stuck him in his buggy, but I'm not walking to the supermarket, I've taken some meat out the freezer and I'm going to attempt to rescue the day.

Rainbow ice was my craving last time too. Obviously it is more of a basic need in this weather than a craving!

Wasting i have been like that by the end of every day with DD recently. Suddenly realised that a)she has been doing so much recently with the bathroom being done we are out most days, b)she has been having later nights because it is so hot and light, and c) i am knackered too, so no wonder we have been falling out. She has been put to bed this afternoon and is having a good sleep and i have had a lie down, so hopefully that will break the vicious circle. Give yourself a little break too

Went shopping over lunch, got myself a fresh cream scone to have this afternoon. Opened the box to find she had put 2 in (and charged for 2 ) but of course i had to eat them both (DH doesn't like them)

DS normally has a 1-2 hour nap, sometimes longer if I forget to wake him and he doesn't wake up. He solved my problem for me by waking up at just after 3, so he's had a bit of lunch and a whole beaker of milk plus one of water. Going to go out for a little walk now and drop things off at the dry cleaner before I come back and get the tea ready.

Too hot to do anything & DS2 has learnt the art of tantrumming!! DS1 never really got the hang of them, DS2 was sobbing, to the point of that hitching your breath thing afterwards, as well as banging his head on the floor, hitting his head, etc. all because? i wouldn't let him have my biro Did the ignoring thing but not sure it works for his level of understanding? though i guess if you can do a tantrum you can take the ignoring too!
