that would be larger not lager

RainbowDrops · 13/07/2010 11:14

Giving her 'lager' may give her a bigger appetite

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/07/2010 11:36

Alice at giving your toddler booze!

Morning everyone - we had a rubbish night with DS, he is still cutting his back teeth and was awake and screaming for an hour in the middle of the night. None of us woke up until 9am - good job DH hasn't got much work on now that he's handed in his notice!!!!

Alice that list is very similar to the one I had all nicely laid out in Excel on my old laptop . Who washes walls though [baffled]

DS either had peanut butter on toast or Weetabix with milk, or toast and jam. Usually a banana as well. Until the last fortnight our problem has been getting protein into him - he went off cheese, ham, chicken, bolognese sauce, sausage and the only things he would eat reliably were tuna pate and quiche lorraine Fortunately things have improved recently and he's actually started asking for more chicken and last night he wanted more gammon! It is hard though, and I've been so anxious about it over the last couple of months [PFB emoticon]

Back in a minute with list.

Rainbow result!

JKS i thought we decided it would be a "Slatterns when we can be arsed" I am still thinking a FB group, unfortunately i just don't seem to get round it, bit like the dusting/hoovering/tidying

Plum we have a carpet washer so technically that is fine for us, just need to get DH to use it! Used to use it a lot on our poor sitting room carpet that was falling to bits which is luckily floorboards now, but tbh, the stairs really need it now.

Just had an hour's uninterrupted sleep - bliss! DH came home for lunch and looked after DD so i could shut myself in the bedroom. Just having a big glass of pepsi and crushed ice and i will be raring to go - maybe!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 13/07/2010 16:12

Alice lager might make her windy, best to stick to spirits I find

I like that table thingy, esp as some of the weekly things get done daily or every other day here and my windows get washed every 8 weeks AND he does my front door for me at the same time. I'm practically anthea

Carpet needs washing here, smells a bit of ammonia, one of the dc must have done a sneaky wee that I didn't know about to clean...

So fed the masses lunch and cake, then had a cuppa and a chat with their mum when she picked them up.

THEN the tv arrived

Have set it up and oh it is a thing of beauty! Am so happy and can't believe it was FREE!

JKS best not to think about the ratios

Ali ds had me up 3 times and it took me ages to get back to sleep, felt awful this morning, amazing how a couple of months ago that would have been a good night but now it almost kills me!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 13/07/2010 16:24

Also feel the need to share what we are having for dinner this eve...roast beef

JustKeepSwimming · 13/07/2010 16:25

Freak - we adjust very quickly to getting decent sleep, so interrupted comes as a rude shock doesn't it? I'm already worrying about the middle of the night wees & then feeds when/if i do get pg.
Yey for tv!!

Yes mag should have read: Slatterns Monthly When They CBA

My wc comes every 4 weeks, is that excessive then? Wondering how well he would take a reduction.....

Tues:

Well my wc comes to my house once or twice a week...but only cleans the windows every 8 Yours must be v clean, mine start to look a bit grubby after 6 weeks normally

PlumBumMum · 13/07/2010 17:04

Afternoon all
you lot have been busy, I have made 1 half of wedding cake and other is baking now, was going to leave it until tomorrow but then I would stress myself out, I feel like this cake has went on for ever, my dcs will have their mummy back soon, even on the days I'm not working on it, it has occupied my mind iykwim!

Need to think about dinner, although need to wait until oven is free

Freak whats the current situation with wc? Still just friends or possibilty f it moving on??

FreakoidOrganisoid · 13/07/2010 17:11

Still just friends plum, but he is a lovely friend to have. Feel v comfortable around him etc. (I think his nan would like us to get together though because she loves me and the dc and doesn't like his gf )

RainbowDrops · 13/07/2010 17:14

Roast beef , I can only just about manage a trip to the chip shop

Alicetheinvisible · 13/07/2010 17:17

I feel slatternly evven on a slatterns thread we don't get our windows cleaned

I find if DD has a bad night it kills me because i am not used to it.

Freak we got the Simple Solutions cat odour spray for the cat, but now use it for DD's accidents. It is an enzyme spray so completely breaks down the smell.

No we don't get ours done. I'm not sure if I've seen anyone on the street get theirs done, but I'm going to keep an eye out. Two of the windows have cracks in them though, so I'm wary of them breaking and us having to pay to fix them.

In the peace and quiet I have had a cup of tea and a slice of toast with raspberry jam. Yum.

Ooh, meant to say - I got on the scales again today (I know you are only supposed to do it once a week) and I've lost another pound! So that is 14.5lbs in total

Ooh, well done Ali!

I have had a scabby finger for ages, and I finally got some cream for it ages ago, and it mostly cleared up, but came back again.
It's driving me nuts I tell you!
Because it's proper medicinal stuff, I don't put it on first thing as I don't want to get it on DS, but I keep forgetting, and then I forget to bring it up to put on before bed.

PlumBumMum · 13/07/2010 19:07
