Wasting 6lbs is fab, well done!

I have lost 1lb this week so 13.5 off in total now - so close to a stone!! Grrr.

I have shredded and now I'm faffing about on here. Need to go and have a shower and get dressed and then sort lunch out. Still no sign of the Ocado man though so not sure what we're going to have................

Just had an innapropriate giggle at the though of the sun bleaching my children (in Botswana/SA etc they are called coloured rather than mixed race)

AIBU to drug my child?

DD is sooooo tired, she needs to nap, but is stubborn so i let her have a bottle of milk in the afternoon if i put her to bed. Recently she is not going to sleep, but i really need to so thought she might doze off if in bed with me. Apparently not i swear tomorrow she is being given horse tranquilizers! You know when kids get manic and a bit horrid when they are very tired? That is how i feel

Alice will she sit in bed and look at a book? My method for putting DS down for his nap is to read him a story and then leave him sat in bed with the book to look at. After a few minutes he will lie down and go to sleep.

I think I am going to go and have a nap actually - I am so tired! Going to do a pg test on Friday......

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 12/07/2010 15:46

Good Luck Ali!

Sometimes she does, i think we are just getting to the age where she knows best and there will be a lot of compromise. She will be 3 in November.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 12/07/2010 16:49

Alice it's a difficult age for naps I think...dd had mostly stopped before she was 2, ds goes through stages of having them but will not and never has agreed to go down in his bed for them...he tends to just conk out watching telly or in the buggy or, like yesterday, on the floor behind the chair. If he goes a bit manic and I think he's tired I usually stick tv on for him I must admit

Not doing great on the list front...

DS goes to sleep on the sofa watching Finding Nemo. if that helps

PlumBumMum · 12/07/2010 16:55

My tummy has been dodgy from the KFC last week I joked with dh I might be pg and now he keeps checking to see if I still feel sick
dont think I am but did have a small stain which I seem to be getting around the time I think I should be ovulating anyone else get that???

Anyway have been out side most of the day playing, went over on my ankle and fell right infront of the dcs, was cos I didn't want to cry and dd2 was hugging me like a little mummy

Started doing abit of work on caravan, abit more needs doing than we thought but we are up to the challenge (so dh says anyway)

Alice can you not take her out in the car, then when she falls asleep bring her home, sit in the car and sleep yourself desperate times call for desperate measures, just think you'll have your little baby boy soon, any names picked??

PlumBumMum · 12/07/2010 16:59

HMHB is right the TV is not a thing of evil
when you have a toddler & heavily pg/or with a hewborn

TV IS OUR FRIEND

when I was pg with ds (same timescale as you his bday in August) when I was tired I would let dd pick a video (noDVDS then) and wrap my arms round her and nod off holding her while she watched Barney!

Alicetheinvisible · 12/07/2010 17:01

We have no off street parking, so would have to park on the street. Not great. Sometimes i snooze while she watches telly.

Plum ouch! Hope you are ok, will keep my fingers crossed for you too

Freak you have done loads!

Waiting for DH to get home so we can do the horses....
