Need a kick up the bum or a shoulder to cry on, this could be the thread for you.

Yes that is the problem with the trofast, although being in rented I've found it's sometimes better to have lots of smaller bits so it is more easy to make it fit the house whenever you have to move . My cousin has the expedit with the tv in the middle in their playroom/dining room, looks really good especially as they got doors for it so all the crap is hidden away

Yes I quite like the expedit with the tv in the middle, may change to that in the future when we need the DC to have their own tv (we are a 1 tv household so far, and i know that makes us weird!) but i want to have a flat screen before they do

• clean kitchen cupboard doors
• put cds onto DH's pc, then they can go into loft with others
• make my playlist
• clear my iPhone of music, reload with just my playlist
• find out about swimming lessons for DS1 - Have Name Of School; HavePhoneNumber
• sort out holiday in August to Jersey; hire car (+ seats) - call Opodo re seats; buy wetsuits, UV swimsuits, etc.
• repot sunflowers DONE!!!!
• go through diaries with DH
• put highchair in loft
• eBay listings: 1 Selling; 0/1 bid on; 7 sold; 6 packaged up

Oh forgot:

• unpack water pistols bought ages ago and have water fight DONE

JKS we have only one telly too (well actually, i think we have one in the bottom of our wardrobe.....

Weekends are so boring and lonely when DH is working

I only have one tv too...and it's only a 19" one

Don't know why I grinned at that, I'd love a bigger tv

Ok ice cream declared good. Even though we had to use a power tool to get it out of the container.Much harder than bought ice cream.
and yes there is some left.
We have 2 tellys ( one in spare room not really used that much)and both are enormous fat things.One day we'll change to flat screen and save some space.

Had a lovely evening at the horses, back a bit late, but nevermind, me and DD are happy. Strangely, i don't feel pg anymore but feel a bit more like myself. Very odd!

Alice - what do you mean, you don't feel pg anymore? are you just into that 2nd trimester time when things feel easier? (sorry forgotten how far along you are)

When DS1 pulled the tv down onto his foot i was partly hoping he'd killed it so we had to get a new one, but sadly the old beast is still going - though the power button doesn't work anymore so it's standby or on.

I think i would like a flat screen somewhere convenient to watch in bed for me, but holding out against it for the boys as they would just end up in my bed watching cBeebies all day

How can you not feel pg? From memory I felt like a beached whale by 36 weeks!!!

Been at work all week so not had much chance to post.

Have managed to keep on top of washing. Laundry baskets are empty at the moment. It has been really wet this week so all washing had to be dryed in house on airers.

Managed to keep kitchen really clean this week dishes done after every wash and kitchen floor swept and mopped every night.

Nursery more organised so that is good and do have bag packed.

Start maternity leave on thursday so do plan on being on here a wee bit more often then.

Am fed up of world cup. Thank God its over. Well nearly. c'mon ref

Chucking it down with rain here. House looks like bomb site. DH's back'went' yesterday so he is moving in slow motion and has gone straight off to osteopath this am. I do sympathise and see that he is obviously in pain, but feel tetchy inside, then feel guilty about feeling tetchy.

I had a good night's sleep last night and it is cooler today, feel much more motivated to get on with jobs!

I am the same when DH has done something to himself. His back was spasming yesterday when we were hauling furniture and enormous bags of duvets around yesterday. He went and lay on the landing while I carried on, my face was like this even though I was trying to be sympathetic

Once we'd agreed to go to a kids party 2hours drive away, DH did his back in that morning, managed to get onto the bed (from the floor) and couldn't move after that.
I went to the party with both boys, on my own, left him with me brand new laptop, the phone, food & drink (& a bottle to wee in, lol!) and the papers.
He had a lovely day grrrrr!
