Morning all

Lots to do today, and so little time

I AM NOT EATING A KFC AGAIN, don't feel the best today and niether does dh

TO DO
put a wash on
Bring ds to gaelic
collect dd1s friend
collect ds again
go to toy shop
-basketball net
-assorted footballs & pump
-have a look at those outdoor play houses
ignore dicky tummy
iron and put away all washing
lunch
unload dishy
load dishy
maybe get all mopping done
bring dd1s friend home @5.30

Oh God don't feel well, think I might be sick

Alicetheinvisible · 03/07/2010 10:39

Plum i always like the idea of KFC much more than the reality. I always sleep really badly afterwards (too much salt i think) and feel grotty the next day.

Freak used for general hallway debris, shoes, bags etc.

Still tackling the kitchen, we have one whole worktop that is just junk, and another heading that way. Doing 15mins tackling, then 15mins sit down.

PlumBumMum · 03/07/2010 10:47

Think that is the case with me Alice, We went to toy shop last night at 2 mins to 8 and it bleed'n closed at 8,
new big KFC beside it so we went in, I stuck to a filet burger this time although mayo did taste abit funny, dh dosen't like mayo but he got filet burger aswell, but that is definitely the last time[yuck]

Alicetheinvisible · 03/07/2010 11:06

Ground to a bit of a halt now. I am at least dressed now.

RainbowDrops · 03/07/2010 11:30

Morning all

I have had a lovely lie in and am feeling refreshed. I got a headache yesterday evening, so as soon as DS3 was sleeping I got into bed (7ish) and DH said I was asleep when he got back from DS1 football presentation at 8.30ish, DH got up with the DD and DS3 and I stayed in bed until 9am, a fabulous 14 hours in bed!!

Alice lovely stuff you've bought!! Chocolate bomb sound like my kind of thing!!

Ali Congrats to your DH, bet it feels like a weight has been lifted.

Plum I hate KFC, so greasey, wouldn't say no to a macdonalds though Happy anniversary, how are you going to celebrate??

Right I have 30mins until we are leaving for a village fete, so must get off here and do;

Put guinea pigs in run
Hangout wash
Pick up toys in living room, so I can actually see the carpet
Collect DS1 from his paper round
Run the DW
and a quick wipe round the kitchen.

Well I'm going to try anyway

wastingaway · 03/07/2010 12:49

Oh Rainbow, I really want a McDonalds now! Very of your sleep, how fabulous!

Pushing the buggy with two growbags on was slightly ambitious, but we made it back from The Range.

it wasn't quite what I intended, but was enjoyable . . . housework can always wait a bit longer.

tomorrow my girl has a dance exam which will provide it's own stress

wastingaway · 03/07/2010 13:16

Claire, that all sounds much more important than housework.

(As long as it gets done eventually, I must remind myself!)

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/07/2010 15:09

Oh dear, I really am failing on the housework at the moment.

Freaky, that's plenty on a Saturday when you've got little ones.

If there's anything urgent that needs doing, get it done now, it's only 3.30.

Says me, sitting down to MN while Ds is asleep in the buggy.

PlumBumMum · 03/07/2010 18:28

Rainbow put it this way the conversation this morning was 17 years ago you wouldn't have got that

Went to Smyths and got the basketball stuff and football set, and spent most of today outside, so haven't done anything, dinner tonight will be something highly nutricious from the freezer

Freak ((hugs)) What about dh has he been pulling his weight with dcs so you could maybe get out and about and meet mr right

Right back to the ironing

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/07/2010 20:39

Thanks Wasting - I have found an application called 'Stickies' which seems to be similar to Notepad. Going to take me a while to get used to it I think, although I already love the fact that I can use it unplugged. Battery life on my old one was about 20 minutes if I was lucky!

Plum - glad you've had a good day

Freak - I think you are right that me fancying DH more is more about me than it is about him. Feel so much better about myself it's untrue, have even bought a new dress for brother's wedding. If I am going to be miserable I may as well look fabulous
Know exactly what you mean about the wistfulness, remember that feeling well from before I met DH. Agree with Plum that H should be doing more with the kids so that you get a proper social life.

Have a good evening mini

Arse, I cannot work out how to copy and paste - DS not in bed yet so must help DH with that and then I'll work out how to use this thing!

OP posts:
FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/07/2010 20:43

Lol at hiding moths mini, can imagine them waiting for you to leave the room and then coming out and doing a little dance

Plum H is doing ok...not quite every other weekend but he has them for a night every 2-3 weeks usually. Problem is I have noone to go out with and wouldn't know where to go! I think I was feeling a bit blah earlier because with wc here yesterday it felt more comfortable and more like a family than it ever did with H. Examples- wc playing guess who and doing a puzzle with dd, reading to the dc even though the football was on, helping dd with her numbers, the 4 of us cosied up on the sofa, him taking ds outside for a kick about when ds got hyper....If I meet a man who is half as good with the dc as he is then I will consider myself lucky (although maybe he is only so good with them because we are just friends so there is no pressure and he knows he only has to see them for a couple of hours at a time!)

Anyway...earlier decided to go for an evening stroll along the sea front with the dc. Only forgot it was bloody t4 on the beach tomorrow so there were a gazillion teenagers all shrieking and tossing their hair Twas still a nice walk tho and I felt better for getting out and about. Some of the bars were pumping out music and dd said I love this thumpy music it makes me want to skip and dance She's her mother's daughter alright!

wastingaway · 03/07/2010 20:59

Ah Freak, I love how much the littlies get into music.

Ali, apple key C or V to copy and paste. About 4 hours battery life I have I think, it's great. I luurrrve my Macbook.

Right, everything done, coffee by my side, relaxxxxx.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/07/2010 21:31

Ooh thanks Wasting. I am so rubbish at things like this. I've retreated to my old laptop while DH sorts out how I can log into my hotmail on the Macbook.

Freak - at DD.

Morning all

plum

Freakoid Ah, thats cute!!

Ali enjoy the food festival.

Today I'm hoping to get a lot done, I know it's sunday but today I have DH, DS1 and DS2 at home so they can all help with the loft or with watching DS3 while I do it.

DH made a start on the extension/conservatory thing we planned last year, I can't wait as I will be getting my own office/jewelery making workshop and all the toys will be moved from the living room. DH is building it himself with a couple of his friends helping so the work will be fitted in around their other commitments.

Breakfast
Do something about the kitchen mess
All washed and dressed
Put some stuff in loft
Tidy the loft room and remove stuff we don't need to keep
Wipe round bathroom
Make beds
Put away clean washing
Ask BT to stop sending paper bills
Put guinea pigs out in run
Some dead heading in the front garden
Run DW
Run WM
Hangout washing
Lunch
Clean kitchen after lunch
Dinner
Clean kitchen after dinner
Feed pets
Bedtime story
Bath/wash and put DD1 and DS3 to bed

FreakoidOrganisoid · 04/07/2010 09:21

Morning
Have logged on to try and decide what to do with my day, debating getting out and ignoring the growing mess versus blitzing the mess...

DS just weed in the mop bucket, must remember to rinse it out before using it!

wastingaway · 04/07/2010 10:22

Morning!

Freaky I fear potty-training.

Rainbow, that sounds exciting!

PlumBumMum · 04/07/2010 11:28

Rainbow that does sound exciting, I moved all my cake stuff into the diningroom for this project and its lovely not having to pack it all away everytime I'm not working on it.
Can we see some Jewelery PLEASE????

Ali Explain shred in simple terms to me I really need to lose weight!!

Freak you need to start a 'single mums we need a night out club'

Waves to everyone else

Right I am going to
do another hour of ironing, hopefully that will be it all done,
and then have lunch
then put all ironing away!

Freak if its sunny get out as its blowing a gail here inbetween lashing rain

RainbowDrops · 04/07/2010 12:03

Plum All my jewelery making stuff is in the bottom of my wardrobe and under my bed at the moment. When we decided to do the extension thingy the plan was to have a downstairs loo and a toy/play area, but I thought that I haven't got anywhere that is just mine, the DC have their rooms and DH has his garage, so that is exactly what I'm going to have. I will have to share it with a chest freezer though, but I can live with that.

I have some pics on my laptop of things I've sold. When I get the laptop out I'll add some to my profile.
