Everyone welcome, newcomers and old(ish) flappers alike!

Here you can do any of the following:

• repeat or start baby steps

• repeat baby steps + do 15 mins a day decluttering in the current zone

• reinforce babysteps and do daily missions if you have finished decluttering

As Christmas is approaching I will also be posting Christmas missions.

I'll post links early in the morning on the relevant day while I'm making the coffee and brewing tea. There might even be toast...

Hi yawningm. Know the feeling well - typical CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome). I've been doing this since October and while the house is nowhere near perfect, usually I don't mind if someone pops by unannounced. Good luck!

I would love to think that me being the first is due to my extreme enthusiasm for this and I would be delighted if everyone else thought that, but I feel it is probably far more likely to be due to me the one who does the most MNing procrastinating, especially first thing in the morning after being woken by a hailstorm which sounded like bullets against our windows.

Another month! - I must be old, they go so quickly.

Dec is a busy month for me - mock GCSE's in school and dd 11th birthday as well as christmas. Flying is helping me keep things under control .

THursday was ok.
Friday nothing happened - very unhappy teething baby + job interview left me no time to get anything done
Saturday was passable
Today I've done some of the washing up. But now the gas has run out, so have no hot water.

Welcome StainlessSteelCat tell me - how do you get grubby marks off your stainless steel kitchen appliances?

Got absolutely zero done today apart from the hanging of washing on the airers routine. Dullsville - there is really no way to make laundry remotely interesting is there? Still, I made a good list on the November thread and I'll just have to go back to it tomorrow.

However...I'm visiting work tomorrow and I have managed to do all my evening routines bag packing wise and I've laid out the breakfast things, and the sink is shiny. All I need to do now is lay out my clothes and be in bed by 10.30pm.

DWM thanks for coaching us through November and getting us organised for December. You are a much better fairy to put on top of the Messaholics tree than the flying fat one

Pluto - if your Stainless steel question one is serious, all I can say it wipe it over with baby oil. Works a treat! Ignore me otherwise!

Thanks OM - I was going to ask SSC if she liked rubbing herself with baby oil but it seemed overly familiar in my first ever post to her! It is a truly great name SSC

Good morning one and all!

Tis the first of December and time to start flying (again)

Your first babystep is here. If you are new to this, that is all you have to do today.

If you are further along (or feel the urge to do more) then you should aim to do the babystep and 15 mins decluttering in the entrance/porch/dining room zone of your home. If you need some help with that click here. 15 minutes ONLY and try not to get out so much stuff that it takes over an hour to put away (been there)

If you have nothing to declutter in the zone, then have a go at today's mission

As an added bonus we have the 'Hoiliday Super Mission #1' so get the decorations out (and put the boxes away afterwards I can't find a link so I have had to cut & paste from this morning's digest:
"HOLIDAY SUPER CRUISING MISSION #1

We are gearing up to take this Cruise through the Holidays to a new level! It is time for all of us to get ready! If you are currently celebrating your Holiday or getting ready in a few weeks, come aboard and get moving!

Because we will not get through all of the Zones before some of the holidays this month, we are going to have missions that will take us outside of our current zones to maintain, pamper ourselves and
decorate! We are FLYing!!

Your mission for today is to spend 15 minutes decorating something in your home. It could be some lights around the entrance area, a wreath, whatever. Don't overwhelm yourself and drag every decoration you own out, just select a few special items and start your decorations. You may have already started this and that is great. If you have managed to get all of your decorations up already, then take a few moments to put away the boxes and "stuff" that seems to pile up from the decorations. Get the boxes put away and ready for when you will need to bring them out again in a few weeks to put the decorations away. This makes the Holiday clean up so much easier!!
