How often do you change your sheets?

Just curious? I try to do them once a week but sometimes I don't get round to it and its 10 days before I change them.

Every week, except during menopause hell which required every day due to smelling like a hobo.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 05/10/2021 14:53

Ideally weekly realistically every fortnight.

Theoldwoman · 05/10/2021 14:53

Once a week in winter and twice weekly in summer due to the heat and sweating.

Nietzschethehiker · 05/10/2021 14:55

Once a week mostly although I don't panic if its been a tough week / weekend and I miss it.

No-one has contracted anything awful as yet from the odd two weekly change.

grapewine · 05/10/2021 14:55

Every two weeks normally. By MN standards that's probably disgusting, but I don't have the energy (chronic illness and pain) for more often nor the money for many sets of bedding or to run the washing machine too much.

I sleep alone anyway.

TaraR2020 · 05/10/2021 14:55

Weekly unless I spill my morning my morning coffee!

Pinkbonbon · 05/10/2021 14:55

Pft, whenever I can be bothered. If I shared a bed with a partner then I'd have to do them weekly but if its just me then you'll be lucky if they get done once every 3 weeks in summer. And once every 6 weeks any other time.

BrownEyedSquirrel · 05/10/2021 14:57

Every 1-2 weeks but much more often recently thanks to my toddler who sleeps with us sometimes and enjoys peeing through his pj's and the occasional vomiting extravaganza.

wombatspoopcubes · 05/10/2021 14:58

It should be weekly, never stressed if I forgot, but takes way too long since I had my baby. Still exhausted although I do change the cots sheets faithfully. Just can't be bothered sometimes to do it for myself. I do shower before bed and hardly sweat, so they feel clean for longer.

Quornflakegirl · 05/10/2021 14:59

Every second week.

AuntieStella · 05/10/2021 15:00

When I remember

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 05/10/2021 15:00

At least once a week but can be more husband works nights sometimes so the bed can be almost constantly in use some weeks! Like a nice smelling, fresh bed

firstimemamma · 05/10/2021 15:01

Every Friday.

disconnecteddrifter · 05/10/2021 15:03

Not since beginning of Sept! Off to do them now!

TinaYouFatLard · 05/10/2021 15:03

There used to be a poster who was alerted to these threads as she changed the bed daily!

NotMyCat · 05/10/2021 15:03

Twice a week

HarebrightCedarmoon · 05/10/2021 15:03

When they are dirty. Probably about once a month each bed. I can't imagine washing four lots of bed linen every week, three of which are double/king sized beds 😲

avocadotofu · 05/10/2021 15:08

Always weekly!

LondonTTC · 05/10/2021 15:17

Every week

redfernstation · 05/10/2021 15:18

Once a month. .there's s climate emergency!

vajingleberry · 05/10/2021 15:20

I make the bed with at least 7 bottom sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases then strip them off one by one every two hours and boil wash them.

SylvanasWindrunner · 05/10/2021 17:26

We change sheets on Tuesdays. Sometimes it's week about, sometimes every Tuesday, just depends. So either weekly or fortnightly. I don't really think it's gross to go longer though.

pinkhampoppy · 05/10/2021 17:26

Every week, sometimes I just wash the sheet and the pillowcases my head is on (not the show pillows!) because from now less chance of being able to dry outside (superking sheet and duvet cover hanging space indoors is limited, if I don't want to use the tumble dryer)

Myusernameisnotmyusernameno · 05/10/2021 17:58

Every week here unless we have been really busy. If going away for weekend we try and do it before. Tbh I shower every night and clean pj's so they're not dirty but the cat does walk all over the bed, there's a throw on it and her blanket too but I like to wash them regularly still.
