Just curious? I try to do them once a week but sometimes I don't get round to it and its 10 days before I change them.

Every other week. I have neither the time nor the inclination for any more regularly than that.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 05/10/2021 18:02

About 3/4 weeks … it doesn’t smell and our bodies are clean getting into it. It’s one of the jobs I hate the most … would rather clean a loo!

Plus the environment!

Cyw2018 · 05/10/2021 18:03

Fortnightly generally (one bed per week) if it is hot weather, sweaty but also easier to dry washing then I'll wash them weekly. We don't have a tumble dryer so I can't do them anymore regularly even if I wanted to.

SylvanasWindrunner · 05/10/2021 18:03

We have coverless duvets which makes the whole thing less of a hassle. Putting duvet covers back on is one of my least favourite jobs ever.

LaBellina · 05/10/2021 18:06

Weekly

Timetoretiretospain · 05/10/2021 18:09

@vajingleberry

I make the bed with at least 7 bottom sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases then strip them off one by one every two hours and boil wash them.
😂😂😂

Only 7? Filthy!

Every two hours? That is grim. People will definitely be able to smell you in public and be able to tell that you don't wash your sheets hourly.
Ellarain · 05/10/2021 18:24

Every Friday, I like them fresh for the weekend.

MWNA · 05/10/2021 19:26

Every couple of months. It's a massive hassle.

MWNA · 05/10/2021 19:27

Why? What happens at the weekend?
Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 05/10/2021 19:28

Nearly as often as this thread title appears.

DramaAlpaca · 05/10/2021 19:28

When I get round to it.

Justcashnosweets · 05/10/2021 19:30

When i can be bothered.

rookiemere · 05/10/2021 19:32

Fortnightly

holidaynearlyover · 05/10/2021 19:33

Aim for weekly but can be 14 days or 5 if it's lovely weather and I have the time. I love fresh bedding

EmmaGrundyForPM · 05/10/2021 19:34

I think I possibly changed them twice in the last year.

My husband, however, changes them every 7 - 10 days.

If I had a £1 for every time this subject comes up.on MN I'd be a very rich woman. Or at least one who could afford a dress from Toast every couple of years.

Bontanics · 05/10/2021 19:34

Anything between a week or fortnight. Whenever I remember really.

RobinPenguins · 05/10/2021 19:34

Every 2 weeks unless they’ve got dirty for some reason e.g. period leak. We both shower or bath before bed and wear pyjamas so that’s perfectly adequate.

hiredandsqueak · 05/10/2021 19:40

Weekly when I can dry them outside, fortnightly if I have to use the tumble drier.

FWBNC · 05/10/2021 19:43

At least weekly this time of year, at least twice weekly in summer.

thelastgoldeneagle · 05/10/2021 19:45

When they smell foosty. Every 2 weeks?

JoborPlay · 05/10/2021 20:21

@Girliefriendlikespuppies

Ideally weekly realistically every fortnight.
Same
HandScreen · 05/10/2021 20:35

I get my cleaner to do it every week.

MerryDeath · 05/10/2021 20:35
