Aww minnie that’s sweet about the stamp! But argh at the closure and charges. Not cool.

I’ve had a lot more rest this evening as I reached my limit earlier on. Achieved a lot though I think - managed a bit more than the kitchen stuff I’d planned and more than I’d hoped in the living room too. Didn’t get anything done in DS’ room, it was too tricky to manage with Cagletini around as he needs a lot of guidance

I’m now chilling on the sofa with DD1 who is cuddling a large triceratops plush, eating trifle and watching an episode of the CBBC show she’s currently obsessed with.

As she put it, “This is how you spend a half term Monday. Trifle. Mustangs. Dinosaur.”

Wise words indeed.

halfhope · 31/05/2021 22:35

You're welcome Minnie. Delighted Cagletini is enjoying trifle sing. I know it's Monday but I am drinking wine 🍷.

Minnie- thats a brilliant list!
I love the idea with the book you made to play libraries! I want to do that.

I loved the library stamping my book, it was so cool. I would love a stamp. I used to play post office to stamp the letters.

Half- ahhh, art library...i would have got lost in there for hours...
Thank you for the label maker suggestion.

Willow- i cant see or understand a pattern with the weather but after stressful moments in my life...my legs sort of go. Does any one else experience this? Or i wonder if its perimenopause?

SingToTheSky · 31/05/2021 22:37

Oh no Cagletini is fast asleep thank goodness - ‘tis DD1 who is currently on a Mustangs FC phase, because she’s wanting to play a lot of football.

Alas the 3yo missed out on trifle :o

Dancing could it be a form of migraine if stress related or perhaps if stressed you are tensing your muscles and when you relax you get those symptoms? A pharmacist might be able to advise.

Yes Dancing we had loads of lovely art books. I learned a ton about fashion there.

😱 Poor Cagletini!!

Sing you are a meanie putting the 3yr old to bed instead of letting her stay up to eat trifle! 😁

New June thread is here - see you all tomorrow.

Half- thank you lovely. I would have loved to see the books on fashion as i love it.

Hills- its good you saw the funny side.
I have just realised why my neighbour opposite was grinning at me so much this evening....it looked like he wanted to say something but was waiting for me....oh my goodness...he thinks i am pregnant...🙈 i look permanantly pregnant in my lockdown sized body. I actually feel like wearing maternity clothes just......just because......i have to try harder to make healthier food choices.

I need sleep. Dh has been a arse the past 2 days......and i am possibly explode.

See u guys on the new thread yay!!!

Just a last list drop of the month for me

ta da
🐍delicates wash on
🐍sent DD1 to tidy her pit
🐍got rid of a lot of crap from the kitchen drawers (last few mystery bits added to another BRC)
🐍started to organise kitchen junk drawers into “random kitchen stuff” and “food storage items”
🐍got rid of old hairbrushes
🐍emailed scout leader
🐍emptied cutlery drawer
🐍cleaned out cutlery tray and newly emptied drawer (with Cagletini’s expert help, she’s handy with a spray bottle!)
🐍booked DD1 into dance classes and paid, and wrote on the board
🐍refilled and replaced cutlery tray in drawer
🐍added some old notebooks/puzzle books to recycling
🐍hung out handwash cycle stuff from WM
🐍got Caglets to strip their beds and put bedding on wash
🐍pulled out lots of stuff from a living room Kallax - workbooks/activity books and random papers etc
🐍sorted through it and chucked/recycled lots, piled up most workbooks to look through later and collected together what DS will need for the last few weeks of term (including some maths workbooks which mean I don’t need to put anything together myself until September, hurrah!)
🐍collected together various bits of paper, letters etc for DH to decide on, and put them in a folder
🐍sorted big utensils, decluttered and organised properly in two pots
🐍put a lot of stuff away
🐍cooked pasta sauce
🐍chopped a load of extra veg and put it in a freezer bag so I have an easy sauce base another time and the half used veg won’t languish in the fridge

@Dancingtomusic i get the leg thing with a fibro flare up, which can be triggered by stress.
I find a things help - making sure i am on top of my vitamins/electrolytes, keeping my fluid intake to what it should be, and making sure that i take time to rest.
You should really get it checked out by a doctor though because there can be multiple causes and some may need medical intervention. I know you have been avoiding going to the doctor and there have been quite a few things over the last year you have asked about. Please consider it. And please consider making it an appointment for ALL of the little things you have been asking because i have a suspicion they could be linked.

Hope you are feeling better today. Flowers
