Welcome to the February Flylady thread, we’d love to have you with us as we chat and work our way through our houses in February. Flylady uses the zone method of cleaning so we’ll be focusing on a different area of the house each week – we will post daily links to the Launch Pad on the Flylady website which gives all the details of the current Zone, daily missions and babysteps.

Newbies are always welcome so feel free to join in at any time. Flylady does recommend decluttering your house first, so if you are not ready for the cleaning routines yet it’s fine to focus on the decluttering bit – add the babysteps in if you wish.

Go for it Cag, you totally should submit it.

Been out this morning, need to get on with something other than MNetting as DD has some after-school stuff that require my chauffering skills. The car has developed a slight problem but hopefully that will be easily sorted without the assistance of a dealer.

Will review thread properly at lunch (attempt not to eat any more for an hour or so).

Bugger it Cag! If they laugh (and I doubt they will) it will only be their subjective opinion. You will gain from actually going through the writing process - you always learn something writing to a brief (even if it's your own brief!) and if it's not what they want you can always ask for feedback and know better next time! Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all of that!

Believe it or not, I applied for a job the other day. I have the relevant qualifications but I'm not sure I have the confidence or staminato actually do it! I'm also about to be operated on so timing also terrible! But thought, what the hey, my CV got updated in the process, did my first ever on-line application (yes I'm that old Grin) and if I'm called for an interview that will be an ordeal experience! In summary: realistically, I haven't really a hope in hell of getting it but not a totally worthless exercise overall ifyswim.

Sproutingcorm · 05/02/2019 12:33

You can do it too I've! You are a multi-tasking ninja Grin

Hope Lil'Zoo feeling better Zoo!

Aw thanks ❤️ I shall try and use some of my regular faffing around online time to actually write the damn thing. I shall of course share here if it gets picked :)

Oooh exciting sc The process sounds worthwhile regardless!

Aaargh at the assignment ive 🤦‍♀️

Holiday booked! Thank you Sun voucher things. Went for a Haven resort we’ve been to before, the familiarity is good for the first holiday with baby as well. It’s late March so not long! But didn’t want to book one for after summer, as the psych assessments are likely to be maybe October November and that will be a bigger trip in itself.

Stilllivinginazoo · 05/02/2019 14:54

Awww cute little fox cub 😍😍😍

Got a few more errands done. So can’t complain. Cagletini has been grumpy as hell the last couple of days. First molar through and another very close I think.

SassitudeandSparkle · 05/02/2019 22:46

Happy Chinese New Year, I gave the chopsticks their annual airing tonight (DD has a connected pair and I am useless with the bamboo ones) and we had a lovely tea. I bought some Fortune Cookies (I made them myself once, very fiddly) and one of my mottos says

Before the beginning of great brilliance, there must be chaos

I don't think I can top that!

Regular readers may have noticed my fondness for any festival that has food attached to it.

Rice krispie flapjack, Foxes? Sounds good, I was looking at a recipe for granola bars from someone and that was oats and rice krispies basically - any chance of the recipe?

Sleep well fledglings, see you tomorrow.

Night sass

Goodness nearly midnight again. So tired.

Registered for online GP services this evening and ordered a Tesco shop. Lots of convenience food, DH is having his tooth out tomorrow and if it goes anything like mine did will be fit for nothing for a day or two, and I appear to be fit for nothing anyway 😳

Been thinking about more home ed stuff, hasn’t yet translated into action.

Stilllivinginazoo · 06/02/2019 06:09
