Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Flylady thread for April, where we follow (sort of) the Flylady system with baby steps, missions, daily focuses (foci?!) and decluttering. But more than that, we are a supportive bunch where we share the trials and tribulations of everyday life. We post our to do and ta da lists and chat a whole lot.
Newbies, lurkers and returners always welcome!
Back tonight with links for tomorrow!

Welcome plower :) congrats on the pregnancy (and on getting a toddler to actually sit still ⭐️:o)

Best of luck cordelia! 💐

Cagletini did the same thing again. Woke frequently. Not sure if it’s the weather (she didn’t feel warm, maybe I underdressed her) or something to do with starting food?! I’m glad DH is off today, I definitely need to engineer some time to myself and I’m going to try and sleep now.

Saltcrust · 23/04/2018 11:26

I am shockingly dizzy after being in car yesterday (as passenger, don't trust myself to drive currently). It's really getting me down now. Having specialist physio which they say should help ... but next one not until Thurs.

Just trying to carry on as normal but it's really hideous when room is spinning! Especially when you appear "normal" to everyone else!

So far ta da today (not very much)
got up slowly
brushed and fed dog, took him for short walk whilst hanging on to buildings every few metres (going to get rep as local drunkard at this rate)
sorted wm repair man (needed new pump for €€€€ (sigh) ; it's over 5 yrs old so wasn't sure worth it but anyway)

to do:
think of something for supper and prep it
write card and wrap thank you presents
write another card
buy new baby present for colleague
order DD sandals
order gardening stuff
take ironed clothes upstairs
dining room table hot spots
triage washing
do laundry

need to do home bleugh but not sure if dizziness will allow
ditto clearing out rabbit room Sad
ditto boudoir

Wing flaps to all!

Saltcrust · 23/04/2018 11:33

Poor KM. Must be rather inhibiting to have a load of nutters tourists and journalists outside the hospital while you are contracting.

BlueEyeshadow · 23/04/2018 11:43

Gentle hugs SC, vertigo is the pits.

Been to the garden centre this morning instead of any of the stuff I should be doing, so obviously I'm on here instead of catching up. Oops!

Waves to all, Brew on the bar.

Saltcrust · 23/04/2018 11:48

Thank you and can't think of anything nicer than visiting a garden centre on a Monday morning Blue Smile.

Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea · 23/04/2018 11:55

The Kate wait is making me broody Shock

plower when is baby due and how old is your toddler!?

foxessocks · 23/04/2018 12:13

I've achieved very little since my last post. Ds being clingy because he's tired so I've put him down for a nap , he barely touched any lunch.

Going to have a cup of tea and something to eat and then try and find some motivation from somewhere.

Stilllivinginazoo · 23/04/2018 12:22

foxes if you find some motivation send it this way (if not I do have the pointy stick but cba use itGrin)

I've dittoI assumed getting older would stunt the broody mare in me but alas it has not

Blue nice start to the week

SC gentle hugs.i can understand why you are getting down,it's been a long time and that would try patience of a saint!
Hope Thurs app really helps.ive seen a program once about that type physio.seemed pretty effective.x

Stilllivinginazoo · 23/04/2018 12:23

Ooops you know that's should've said
I've ditto...

Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea · 23/04/2018 12:26

zoo plenty of women having babies up to mid/late 40s now ....

Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea · 23/04/2018 12:27

sc Brew and Cake

PlowerOfScotland · 23/04/2018 12:28

Sorry to hear you're not well @Saltcrust, that's a pretty long to do list if you're ill Sad Hope thursday goes well for you.

Toddler is 2 and baby due Oct @Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea, long way to go yet.

Saltcrust · 23/04/2018 12:29

Thank you again! (And sorry for whinge.)

Physio involves being strapped to ironing board type table and being swung around. Doesn't half play havoc with the ham sandwiches Grin.

Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea · 23/04/2018 12:38

That sounds horrific sc!
