Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Is her dad tall? Whats her diet like? Is she eating a load of crap at school maybe?

HillsBesideTheSea · 21/03/2018 08:33

Does she do a lot of exercise because for proper sports people BMI is bollocks. Ds comes under this. Which is nice because you can see people's surprise from his stats to him when you see medical people.

Dad's 6ft.shes always been a bit "chunky" preschool was on top centiles for height and weight.shes chronically greedy thh.loves food of all kinds, rarely feels full.eats ridiculously huge amounts or whines constantly how hungry she is.more a volume issue as her overall diets good.example will eat mash with her meal and want bread.if put bread on table easily it 5 slices unchecked ☹️

Stilllivinginazoo · 21/03/2018 09:29

An hates exercise as she gets out if breathe😢

Afreshcuppateaplease · 21/03/2018 09:33

zoo one of mine is a carb lover. Have to ration his toast and cereal or he would just eat and eat! Would she be intetested in some kind of dancey work out dvd you could do together?

Cagliostro · 21/03/2018 09:53

Thank you x feel a bit better having talked to DH. I had to be brutally honest with him in the small hours that I just wanted to run away. I found myself browsing hotel sites too, I’m going to book myself a night away in the next couple of months I think, not too far and obviously I’d still have the baby, but I need a break from life.

It’s all the changes happening. Baby is completely incredible but getting used to having a baby again is turning life upside down (even though arguably I’m coping quite well with stuff like getting out and about with her, feeding is going well etc). But the main thing is the housing situation. So many unknowns, they do say moving is one of the most stressful things anyway, but dare I say with being autistic and not dealing well with change/unpredictability, it is a whole new level. And we aren’t even moving yet, it’s just the not knowing when or where. Let alone all the stuff that needs sorting when we do get somewhere. I don’t like to talk about it IRL as I feel so ungrateful, of course it’s a good thing that we will get housed. A very good thing.

More protein needed maybe zoo, and counterintuitively, more fat. I’ve lost weight and felt less hungry when eating more nuts, avocado, olive oil etc (she says having just scarfed a chocolate croissant. Shopping delivery doesn’t usually fall on one of the two days a week I allow myself chocolate...)

foxessocks · 21/03/2018 10:15

Stilllivinginazoo · 21/03/2018 10:40

Afreshcuppateaplease · 21/03/2018 10:52

I should declutter our coat hooks they seem to have disapeared

foxessocks · 21/03/2018 11:29

ta da

Steamcloud · 21/03/2018 11:56

Cag the uncertainty of the impending move and not being able to plan etc would make anyone feel really anxious I think! You are doing great x

If it's any consolation I am praying hard this morning - feel like a horrible crap selfish resentful cow of a mother (during Lent no less) - and need to readjust my thinking before 1.30pm!! Grin

DD (who has been rather selfish this weekend in expecting her jet lagged father to run her to various places (I was too dizzy to drive)) and who is driving me mad leaving mugs and wet towels everywhere and being, well, a bit "entitled" atm tbh, clicks her fingers and expects lunch for her friends on Wednesdays (school half day - don't mind this usually!) and oh btw they are staying until 7.20 pm this evening because of school theatre trip (also ok) and can dh run us there (also ok) oh and btw one is gluten free (ok also fine) oh (15 mins ago by text) and btw three more are coming than I said (NOT ok haven't catered!!!).

Need to make my smile genuine when I answer the door in 50 mins and not have a resentful cats bum mouth!! Grin Wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't feeling (a) dizzy (b) a bit weak from dizziness (c) have a work deadline tomorrow lunch time (need to get finished proofs to post office) and desperately want some peace and quiet!!

Need to take deep breaths and think of fields of daisies or some'at...

Sometimes when I look at Facebook and see mother and daughter "best friends" photos plastered with hearts, I think I have a "lovely mother" deficit I really do Sad

Confused

To do
Get out of my nice warm bed and make mushroom risotto for me n D's lunch(out cash til Sunday m reserving bread for pack ups)

Afreshcuppateaplease · 21/03/2018 12:16

Yes babies, dc, home edding and moving combo is vv stressful indeed ... . Seriously Cag any one of those elements is quite overwhelming!

Thanks all! Good to know I am not being totally unreasonable! I accommodated quite a few teens for lunch and until 6pm last Wed when guests were here and when the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase was on during Cheltenham (to be fair I can understand that les ados didn't fully appreciate the depth of that sacrifice!!) !! Grin Plus dd had friends over for part of the weekend and also went to far flung friends involving lots of lifts! So I just felt like having a Wed off tbh ... .

Of course, now they are all here, the teens are genuinely lovely Grin so I feel ashamed of being resentful Blush Think I will ask them to nip to nearest shop (only 8 mins away) to get stuff to accommodate extra bods for supper this eve though Wink.

Must enter the bowels of the basement now to sort the washing that has been mouldering in the machine since yesterday Blush. Only housework accomplished this morning was an s&s this after supermarket run - dizziness is making me slow. Also need to room rescue home office and boudoir both of which have (finally!) been a lot better of late but are showing signs of descending in to pits of despair again ... .

Impressive lists Goth!

Glad someone at school is sorting situation properly Zoo!

Hope nausea is disappearing Afresh

Wing flaps to all!
