Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Just taken dd to nursery. Stupidly didn't quite anticipate how cold it is and forgot to put jumpers on either child! (They had vest t shirt big coats I'm not totally negligent but still!) . Ds miserable on the way home. Dd went and asked her teacher for a spare fleece Blush honestly I feel terrible! How does a person be a mother for four years and still do things like this!?!

foxessocks · 19/03/2018 10:15

Just realised i forgot to have breakfast. What's going on with me today?! I never ever miss breakfast. Or any meal come to think of it!

Afreshcuppateaplease · 19/03/2018 10:26

Cake foxes?

foxessocks · 19/03/2018 11:15

Afreshcuppateaplease · 19/03/2018 12:06

Ive been feeling sickly on and off yes. Might give it a few days and poas if still feel crap. Although as i say i have a LARC!

Ds3 still grumpy. Dont you love it when they scream blue murder in a shop? Then some nosey cow comes and sticks her head in the pram "oh dear are you too hot in there" Im sure she was accusing me of baking him. We had just been out in the freezing cold and he was red with rage not heat! He was red Ross.

So there you go foxes You freeze your dc and i bake mine!

Totally agree, people often have a (usually unwanted and often unhelpful) opinion on children when out and about. foxes, DD1 is 7 and I frequently wonder how it is that I have not yet figured things out Grin.

Hope you feel better soon SC, I hear labrynthitis is awful.

Thanks for links Cotswold

foxessocks · 19/03/2018 16:48

That makes me feel better toostressy! Grin

Done my list

To do
cook dinner - roasted veg pasta with red pesto and leftover chicken

Im cooking way too much pasta at the moment not sure what's gone wrong with my meal planning! Even dh has noticed!

Steamcloud · 19/03/2018 17:25

Thanks Toostressy it feels a bit like the last straw tbh. Contemplating cancelling travel if I still feel this rough.

Aw shame about no snow day Cotswold!

I once got told off in a supermarket by an older lady when dd was about 6 months old and I had nipped in for nappies at about 5.30pm (the lady said it was too late for a baby of that age to be out). I could have explained that we had just arrived back after a fortnight's trip and a seven hour journey but I just smiled and thanked her for her concern through gritted teeth. Busybodies!!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 19/03/2018 17:37

Ta da:-
Gone through some memory boxes and decluttered a few bits and organised the others.
Got rid (well ok, it is in the garage) of an old stereo that has been in DD2’s room on the top of her wardrobe for ages. Was tempted to keep as it has sentimental value but realistically it has a an analogue radio, a tape deck and will not be used again Grin. Will take a photo of it before it goes to the top of we ever sort the garage out.
15 mins on job application for some freelance work.
Reading with DDs. DD1 has no homework this week woop woop.
Prepped some of dinner

At gymnastics with the girls now.

To do:-
Bedtime

Steamcloud · 19/03/2018 17:49

Well done for getting rid Toostressy!

If you happen to try a paracetemol tablet on the iron plate Afresh I'd be interested to know if it works or not or if its just a load of bunkum

Afreshcuppateaplease · 19/03/2018 18:36

sc i plan on tracking down the instructions tonight so i shall report back!

Cagliostro · 19/03/2018 19:06

Bloody freezing! Chessington was fun though. And because lots of rides were shut due to the snow, they gave us all letters to get free tickets if we go back within six weeks! Woo.

Afreshcuppateaplease · 19/03/2018 20:02

Question.....took mince out the freezer this morning for tea tonight except now i cba to cook it, will it be ok tomorrow?

GoingGoingGoth · 19/03/2018 20:58

foxessocks · 20/03/2018 06:42

Gah. Woken up at 6 by dd wetting the bed again. Dd so grumpy.

Should I just go back to pull ups at night?! Dh says no but surely easier than keep changing sheets and waking dd up like this.

foxessocks · 20/03/2018 06:42

Yay to new coat hooks zoo!

Stilllivinginazoo · 20/03/2018 07:30

Afreshcuppateaplease · 20/03/2018 07:42

foxes i would keep going. Do you layer the bed? E.g. waterproof sheet, then normal sheet, then waterproof sheet, then normal sheet. Can make night time bed changing easier!

foxessocks · 20/03/2018 07:53

Thanks afresh no I don't- good tip I'll pick up another waterproof sheet today as we only have one . Trouble is her duvet gets wet too. And sometimes teddies!

foxessocks · 20/03/2018 08:45
