So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Thanks everyone. Really helpful ideas. Ds down for his nap now and dd happily eating spaghetti in front of peppa pig. She was playing nicely with ds before lunch while I got on with a few things and the tv actually wasn't on for a while. Constant cbeebies is starting to drive me mad!

Afternoon all. I've been AWOL and house is a pit again.

I met with my manager about returning to work with some adjustments as per advice of my GP. Manager used the meeting to rub salt in the wounds and has made me feel even worse. So I've been completely un motivated to do anything. Meh.

Well my laptop has now broken feel a bit lost without it. And dh still not home. Dc are driving me crazy now dd is whining about everything. She lost at the bus stop game. She can't have a creme egg (because she chose sweets instead and I said one or the other). And ds has just walked in with a massive stick I have no idea where he got it and hit dd with it, I took it away and now both dc crying argh!

I'm going to try and harness this and do some angry cleaning. Then I can ignore them both.

I had forgotten how long ET is(almost 2hrs)curled up under a blankie with zoolets I feel super sleepy)

Just moved to get a couple ginger oatcakes and put wash in drier

Dd2 actually located shirts for school on first request AND noticing had bean juice staining it gave stain quick run with soap in bathroom before handing it to me
Me-- why is this wet?
Dd2- I rinsed out stain
Me stands there like cod fish with mouth flapping and no words

Dd2 walks off like it an everyday event

zoo as i have a LARC fitted i would be suprised if it was bump related!

Out for lunch at Lochwinnoch, then a visit to the RSPB visitor centre, It was far too cold to walk round but was cosy watching all the birds on the feeders. Only came home with 1 new feeder.

I'm trying to do a 20 minute walk each day but as I bottled it I dusted off DH's cross-trainer and now have sore arms.

I think I may have fallen asleep for an hour after that.

Phew well the weekend is done. Need to get to bed as tomorrow we are going to chessington!

More snow tonight here - we are now hoping for another snow day tomorrow, we would love it! I doubt they'll let us know until tomorrow morning though so will be hitting the internet constantly until we need to leave for school!

Not much flying, DD still practising and doing homework and we've been glued to the sofa for most of the day. It is very cold!

Will catch up tomorrow and post the links next - we are back in the bedroom/wardrobe/ensuite (if you have on) next week. I think the missions are similar but always worth doing again again, who am I kidding - as if I did them the first time

It was 1 C when I went out. I was able to more my car and managed to go to church despite the roads. Quite slippy.
My little hen had laid me an egg how kind is that! I shredded extra paper for her tonight. Went to mass, went to meeting, went to choir.

Cleaned shower tray and basin.
Keep falling asleep. Night night everyone.

Dc3&4 up eating. Both grumpy.

Morning everyone. Dd wet the bed last night well at 5am and dh left.for work at 5.30. She has gone back to sleep after we gave her a wash and changed sheets etc. It's strange she never wees if she is wearing a nappy at night but the night we don't bother and she does! Ds was up about five times too. He eventually went back to sleep when I changedhis nappy so maybe that was all he wanted his nappy was wet but not that wet.

Anyway they're both asleep now and dh has left me a thermos of coffee!

Anyone got a nice quick pain free way to get the grey shit off dds pinafore off my iron

No snow day for us, unfortunately, so a very slow journey in the car to school and back this morning. Have come straight home and had a huge bowl of porridge with golden syrup to kickstart my day. Will wait until the sun melts a bit more of the ice to go shopping

15 mins to remove stuff from the bedroom - I almost put something to say I hope that's not the laundry basket as ours is overflowing from me being ill the other week - it's not drying weather and I haven't caught up yet! Will run the tumble dryer for a bit instead!

Afresh trying to avoid screens this am as woke up with bad labyrinthitis attack (horrible) so forgive me for not linking but if do Mumsnet search, there is info about cleaning iron plate with a paracetamol I think (iirc). Don't know how effective it is mind you!

I tend to heat iron slightly, unplug, clean plate with bicarb on mild scourer, rinse with industrial vinegar and water.
