Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Also feeling foggy Afresh. I was out at church course last night and made mistake of going drinking with some old friends. Dirty stop out I was home at midnight. Straight to bed in cold house and woke up at 5:30am on day off so went back to bed, read, dozed off and just woke at nine. Getting up now. We must have needed it!
This house is a tip so lots of flying to do.
Bedroom
Bathroom - just shower and floor to do.
Vacuum downstairs.
Wash kitchen floor.
Clean out fridge.
Laundry.
Ironing( film)
Fish cakes for tea.
Cutting out 52 mini beasts.
Need to collect prescription and try and get a haircut.

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 10:22

afresh I find when I get different amounts of sleep so bad sleep for a few nights then one good night it totally throws me off. I'm better if they're all bad! (Or all good but that's wishful thinking!)

DS has been playing in the garden it's so nice here, dd didn't want to come out so she stayed in front of the tv. She is pretty grumpy today but that's to be expected I guess. DS inside now and we're having tea and biscuits. Trying to keep to some sort of routine!

ta da
daily routine

to do
15 minutes decluttering
anti procrastination - try the damn photo book again!!!! Going to try a different company this time. Hate them all mind you!

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 10:23

oh also ta da
took all the gardening books plonked in our bedroom downstairs and put them on an actual book case! Which DS is at this moment trying to destroy...bad idea then.

Stilllivinginazoo · 14/03/2018 10:24

Tada
Freezer sorted (and noted what's run out/nearly out of and needs replacing)
Wipe living room floor
Wipe kitchen floor

Bad night here again.keep waking at 330 and struggle go back to sleep then get tired about 10.30am😒😒😒

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 12:41

Ta da
15 minutes sorting in dd bedroom - toy box all done now - not that it will last. She is happy with me because I found her my little pony.
Have officially given up with photo book. Have instead got photos ready to order prints instead and am going to get dh to finish it later as the whole thing is winding me up! I'm going to look for a nice photo album instead.

Stilllivinginazoo · 14/03/2018 13:11

As a tachno dinosaur I can appreciate a good old fashioned photo album foxes
Spent an hour in 3x20 minute sessions decluttering in my room.time for lunch!!

CotswoldStrife · 14/03/2018 13:20

The sun was certainly shining this morning, I had my sunglasses on when I was driving!

Time for lunch here and a spot of housework later. I don't have to go out tonight which is lovely, being out in the morning seems to eat into my day! How did I ever manage to work?!

Craft class was lovely this morning, even if I think I've done mine wrong! It's so nice to sit and chat with a coffee.

Cagliostro · 14/03/2018 15:32

Haven’t done much today as we took baby swimming! She liked it :o it does rather eat up the day though what with travelling there, getting everyone changed and washed after etc. But fun.

Thanks for the info re daily routine! I think I need a morning and evening one.

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 15:33

Ta da
Picked up parcel while my mum kindly looked after the dc for a bit. But the parcel needs to be returned as its the wrong size sleeping bag for ds Angry

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 15:35

cag that's good the baby liked it my two hated it when they were babies and ds still not keen!
Dd itching a lot now but is very reluctant to put the lotion on. She hates it Sad

Cagliostro · 14/03/2018 17:30

I don’t blame her it’s horrible stuff!

My other two hated baths but Cagletini loves them, so it seemed a safe bet! I’d really like to go more often, it’s not even that expensive (as long as we remember the home ed discount card, and don’t go for cheesy chips every single time...) but it doesn’t half take a long time.

It would be particularly lovely if we got housed somewhere nearer the leisure centre actually, so many things would be easier if we end up nearer there, or the town centre. We’d still need our bus passes anyway. But I have a feeling things would be a lot more efficient if we spent less time travelling everywhere.

She says, having just discussed an idea with friends about a new learning club that I will have to book a room, plan for etc. Why can I take all this stuff in my stride and actually enjoy it now, when I can’t even remember to brush my hair or keep my keys in the right place? 🤔

HillsBesideTheSea · 14/03/2018 18:02

Foxes we had an aqueous version of calamine because calamine lotion has a milk based component. Not sure it your dd might prefer it? it is very different from the lotion.

I feel like crap. I have reached fibro burnout. Can't even pick my feet/legs up proper to walk. Just need to make tea, pick up some pain killers and some supplies and then I am hibernating for a bit.

Callmecordelia · 14/03/2018 18:04

I used aloe Vera gel on DD's spots after I saw a tip on MN. Worth a try?

Stilllivinginazoo · 14/03/2018 18:08

Cool bath with in bicarbonate of soda in it help soothe my lot when they had it.we didn't use calamine as mine hated how felt when it dried..trying to remember what we did put on them

Dinner made-meatballs,pasta and green beans

Stilllivinginazoo · 14/03/2018 18:10

Aqueous cream think it was(noted hills already suggest that)
We were told to give lil zoo piriton too as she was covered and itchy

foxessocks · 14/03/2018 19:10

Thanks everyone. She has piriton as well which she doesn't mind. I didn't realise calamine lotion felt strange I just thought it was like a normal lotion...I feel bad now! Thing is when I do get it on her it does seem to help. I've managed to get it on her before bed by giving her sweets...

I will see if I can find an aqueous one then and maybe dh can pick it up tomorrow.

I'll try that bath idea too , thanks. I hope today was the worst of it. We'll see.

Dinner was oven fish and chips with beans for me and ds and sweetcorn for dh and dd. It was proper comfort food and no effort. I can't be bothered I can't stop coughing and I'm so tired. If I didn't have this cold I might actually be able to use this time stuck indoors for more productive stuff and more interesting things with the dc.

Hopefully will be able to order these photos this evening and an album.

HillsBesideTheSea · 14/03/2018 19:24

It could be the smell too. Calamine lotion does have an interesting smell. Also it tends to feel cold when applied.

You might need to try a pharamacy for the aqueous versions but I am pretty certain I got ours in the tesco pharamacy so shouldn't require anything too specialist.

Hope you and dd feel better soon foxes

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 14/03/2018 19:28

foxes, I think when you and DC are poorly it really is an ‘everybody fed, nobody dead’ day Flowers. I can’t find that photo book link, sorry. I bet a proper photo album will be lovely. If you or DH can get to a pharmacy then you could ask the pharmacist for some advice for the itching. TBH we just bought a load of stuff and saw what seemed to help the most. You can always keep it for when DS gets it assuming not expired. We used Virasoothe cream and found it helpful.

I didn’t get the job. Not hugely surprised as the interview didn’t go particularly well. It wasn’t my dream job my any means so not the end of the world. Aside from that actually had really nice day at work where I got loads done! Just resting down here while DD1 is on tablet and DD2 watching telly. In a few minutes I will need to get up and start bedtime but they are both in PJs so not bad.

Hope today was better than yesterday for you Callme. Woohoo for first swimming for Cagletini. Thanks for links Cotswold.

Big wing flaps to all. Must get up...

Stilllivinginazoo · 14/03/2018 19:36
