Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Ta da
Cleaned bathroom bin - its currently soaking with loads of detergent in
Swish and swipe bathroom including bath
Mopped downstairs
Dishwasher on again
Decluttered dd wardrobe and some toy box. Swapped some toys over so dc got some different puzzles to do today (since we are cooped up we may as well use all the toys we have!)
Played shops with dd and also eye spy...started to lose my mind!
Text preschool re chicken pox
E-mailed company about Thursday tickets in case any way of refunding or changing date. No reply.
Meal plan and online food shop for next week
Attempted to keep tidying toys in living room...
Finally put the wipe clean mat properly under highchair and dining table! It has only been a year since dd started eating at the table with us oops Grin

To do
Drink lotsof water as I feel a bit dehydrated
Attempt to shake off horrble cold
Maybe pop to shop for parcel and pharmacy if my dad can get here to watch kids. His motorbike won't start though Hmm

foxessocks · 13/03/2018 15:04

I mean ds started eating with us...obviously dd has been eating with us a bit.longer than that!!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 13/03/2018 15:19

foxes Grin so true how it can take a year (or much longer!) to put things away.

Ta da:-
Tidied under our bed (Clutterbug challenge)
Took a bag to charity including a raincoat I was keeping because I thought it would be ok as a spare but actually I have a spare and don’t really like the colour
Returned books to library
Put away DD2’s birthday cards in her memory box
Got petrol
Bought bday card

To do:-
Just waiting for girls to come out of school
DD1 wants to go to shop to choose Easter eggs
Spanish homework
Order present on Amazon as local shop sold out
Phone my mum re next visit - have been putting this off Sad

STILL not heard about the job!

HillsBesideTheSea · 13/03/2018 16:12

To be fair the chicken pox cost me 3 weeks off. It was the fact that it triggered a bout of CFS is what really did it in for the year. I suspect that I got better grades as a result of it because wow that final year jump was huge! Came out in the wash but when you paid for tuition fees and extra year just lumps onto the loan repayments later. Chicken pox version itself was fairly mild and spread like wildfire as people weren't realising they had it until after they had infected others.

I spoke too soon re overtime Hmm a few things left to sort but thankfully the whole situation that required it has been resolved and actually really rather painlessly. was a tense few months there. It will be nice when it is done, dusted and parcelled in a bow!

to do
make bread
wash uniform
Eat ice cream

foxessocks · 13/03/2018 16:50

Dh got supplies from pharmacy
My dad did visit so that was nice

To do
Cook dinner - pasta with mushroom cream white wine sauce (already anticipating the dc not eating much of it they're a bit off their food but never mind leftovers will be frozen or tomorrow lunch)

Stilllivinginazoo · 13/03/2018 18:02

School gave lil zoo science, spellings, maths and English .I am really pleased as her teacher add need more to just let them know💖

Cagliostro · 13/03/2018 22:12

Man alive what a day. I am shattered. We were out all day really. Finally got bloods done, also got tap shoes for DS, really cute. And I actually managed to cook dinner this evening too which is quite good considering how tired I am. I’m now in the stage of needing to make the effort to take baby to bed but I’m feeling like it’s too much effort!

Re scan points, I seem to recall it’s 1000 points per pound? I think the initial sign up is 10000, then you end up with £1.60 a week if you do the scanning and the receipts (which reminds me I must find the receipt from today’s Tesco delivery)

Really need to get the hell to bed now

Cagliostro · 13/03/2018 22:22

Also foxes I forgot to ask, if it’s not too nosy, what does your daily routine consist of? I am so useless with doing anything as a habit and I really need to design one for myself I think

Right the baby is dressed for bed, I am going up dammit

CotswoldStrife · 14/03/2018 00:03

Will head for bed soon, must run dishwasher tonight (luckily it's very quiet). Chicken pie and chips for tea (not home-made, from freezer).

Craft class tomorrow, woo hoo! I had a fab chat with a friend the other night which really cheered me up - sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference.

Links next, catch you tomorrow!

foxes You are more organised than I am for your daily routine. Smile

Mine is:
Make bed
Get clothes ready for DS and myself for next day
Think about what we're having for dinner the next day and take food out of freezer if necessary.
Wash up before bed.

Everything else is a bonus. Grin

Yesterday's ta-da
2 loads washing put away
Another load washed and drying
Hoovered downstairs
Tidied living room
Plus daily routine

To-do
Put washing away
Do another load
Bathroom clean
Daily routine

Callmecordelia · 14/03/2018 08:04

Ta das from yesterday
Four loads of washing done and tumbled.
Vacuuming
Dusting
Booked dentist appointments for DH and I (yay for anti procrastination - I have been putting that off for, um, a long time Blush)

Horrible day apart from that in which DS picked up dog mess, the pushchair got a puncture and I lost a small bit of padding off the car seat which meant DH had to do a massive detour on his way home to get the spare seat from my parents.

Callmecordelia · 14/03/2018 08:07

Forgot the To dos
Put away washing
Do even more (delicates and towels)
Think about DS birthday cake
Fill in job application
Clean bathrooms
