Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

foxessocks · 07/03/2018 15:54

Good work sc! And spa day would be fab but think my babysitting offer will only stretch to a meal...

zoo so sweet! My cat isn't sweet at all she's vicious.

Ta da
Daily routine
15 mins kitchen - decluttered fridge, cupboard, washed up and emptied dishwasher again
Swish and swipe bathroom
Booked meal
Booked ds tickets next week
Sorted out meal plan for this week and next

To do
Hotspot check kitchen but think all ok atm
Cook dinner - chicken cacciatore (sp!?) With either little roast potatoes or mash. Mash isnt very Italian though. I think the dish is Italian anyway Blush haven't made it before!!

foxessocks · 07/03/2018 15:55

HillsBesideTheSea · 07/03/2018 18:11

The daily summary for Thursday (also available on the Flylady website at flight plan which should update automatically each day.

Baby-step no 8 - start your control journal by writing down your morning and evening routines

We are in Zone 2 this week: the kitchen

Spend 15 mins decluttering in Zone 2.

When you have finished decluttering, the detailed cleaning list (if you are at that stage) for Zone 2 is here

Mission for Thursday surface clean the large appliances today

The daily focus for Thursday is: errand day

The monthly habit for March getting dressed to shoes

daily reminders (radio show times are probably not accurate for UK but can listen to previous shows/podcasts)

foxessocks · 07/03/2018 21:09

hope you feel better soon cs thanks for the links

unsurprisingly I still didn't get my photobook done!! The bloody thing is so HARD to do. I got the rage with it and turned the computer off in a major huff. But on a positive note I did at least get the photos all downloaded onto the desktop computer ready to try again another day...

and I sorted some socks!

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 07/03/2018 21:47

Hello all,

No flying today as at work then prioritised Facebook and presentation writing tonight so am firmly in naughty corner. Really should have sorted some stuff out to prepare for tomorrow as you say Afresh but I didn’t. Glad I have done presentation though so actually I think it was worth it.

Means tomorrow night I can figure out how I will play it, memory stick etc and try on interview outfit.

Cotswold, sorry you are still ill. Shall I do links tomorrow?

Afresh, by roly wipes do you mean the ends curl up Grin? Yes but they are 4 and a half years old now so not exactly brand new. I think they did roll up a bit early on though so don’t stack perfectly.

foxes, I’m sure I’ve seen an advert on Facebook for simple photo books. It was Australian and showed a busy mum not having time to make one. I’ll see if I can remember it although it sounds as if you already have one.

Love the cat pic zoo Smile and glad little zoo feeling better.

Lots of sanity lost here when I had kids too Grin. I love that thread SC Grin. For a long time when DD1 woke at 5 or before I fantasised about hoovering outside her door at 5am when she became a teenager. Have only read a few pages so will have to read more.

Cag, did I read that your washing machine is leaking Shock? You have my sympathies if so.

Big wing flaps to all. Am giving up for today. Will fly tomorrow!

Cagliostro · 07/03/2018 22:08

Today is a write off. Not managing to get up to bed, you know when you’re too exhausted to go to bed? That. In my defence it’s more that I’m too tired to carry baby, get her dressed etc. Aargh. Waiting up for DH I think. Eaten rubbish and feel rubbish too.

Hope you feel better cotswold

ta da

✅library - returned book, reserved a book, found some chemistry books, did printing, handed over game I sold to friend
✅DH did a wash, it didn’t leak thank goodness, we think it was something stuck in the door last night which unsealed the seal
✅made it to gymnastics, first time I’ve had to take DD since baby arrived, her coach got a lovely smiley baby cuddle 😍 I played chemistry fluxx with DS while we waited
✅fuck all else. Hair all tangled, living room a shithole and I feel extra fat this evening 😳🙈

Steamcloud · 07/03/2018 22:36

That's not a write off Cag you've done loads!!!!

Bit of a mixed day here. Suffice to say nowhere near visitor ready and plumber no.3 has to return tomorrow. Went food shopping, half school day so cooked DD proper lunch, emptied dw, cleaned half bathroom, helped DD with lang testing, X 2 more laundry, hung up washing, visited chemist, dog walk 1, watched Crufts! Cooked supper (sort of a salade nicoise). Tidied kitchen and shone sink. Filled DW. Filled wms.

Still need to do boudoir before it descends in to chaos again!

G'night all!

Yes stressy that is what i meant, some of the reviews online complained of the wipes rolling up. Anyway mine came yesterday and so far happy. Two have been through the washer, shrank slightly, dried overnight on radiator nice and flat. I would expect them to roll after as much use as your but people online had said after first use!

Hope lil zoo feeling better zoo

Cag stop being so hard on yourself! You did plenty. More than everyone fed no one dead! Star Fwiw my hair is in desperate need of a wash and i have eaten much chocolate this week!

Sc i would much prefer a night in a hotel alone to a meal or spa day. Just to sleep! However i dread to think of the carnage i would return to.

Hope your feeling brighter cs

Making photo books is an absoloute bastard foxes but they look so good.

Afreshcuppateaplease · 08/03/2018 07:09

Ok
I am not making so many posts on purpose i promise

But has anyone got a shark steam mop as i am eyeing one up!

Bowerbird5 · 08/03/2018 07:27

Morning all.

Afresh makes me tired reading it. WOW!

I got kicked off for some reason and couldn't get longed on. A message came up but I didn't get to read it as it suddenly disappeared.

Did a bit of flying on my day off.
Put clothes away. Hate this job but put radio on and made myself do it before breakfast! It worked.
Vacuumed all downstairs.
Lit fire
Cleaned out toaster
Wiped work tops, shined sink, soaked clothes lemon zest mmm.
Tidied sitting room.

Went to hospital app. Had to cancel last week because of snow I couldn't get out. I have high blood pressure, going to do scan, slight kidney ? Consulant very pleasant in and out in less than an hour. I put three hours on parking😛 made someone's day by giving them the remaining 2 plus hours.😄 on meds now and follow up in a month. Will try and get weight down a bit by then. Going to start slowly with a short walk every day.
Zoo thanks that meant a lot that day I was feeling really fed up about something at work and myself not getting things done due to feeling so tired.i could reply because it wouldn't let me back on. I've tried a few times.
SC you should have given a health warning out to that thread. I laughed so much I had to leave for wheezing.

Wing flaps to everyone. Will need to get up we are having WBD today so need to get in a bit earlier as I am doing breakfast with some. Need to buy orange juice on the way.

Plan for today
Boudoir mess, just small corner.
Clean fridge
Hot spot, table.
Hob
Wash floor if enough energy.
Rest of kitchen fairly good after time off.

foxessocks · 08/03/2018 07:31

toostressy I haven't got one started as the one I did start i deleted in a huff so let me know if you do see an easy one! I have this trouble every yesr with photo books!

Bowerbird5 · 08/03/2018 07:33

No, but I bought an expensive Polti. It is in the shed. Not used enough. It does a good job though. We have no where to house it in the house no cupboards for mops, vacuum etc. under stairs bit is part of dining room and we have the computer there.

Those smaller mops weren't about but look ideal. The only thing I would say is you can't scrub and sometimes need to get a cloth and rub stain. It does make you feel like it is sanitised afterwards. Mine takes ages to heat up but has a large tank if I lug it upstairs I can do bathroom as well.

Stilllivinginazoo · 08/03/2018 07:40
